As a woman, I was inspired by Laura and it really made me appreciate the struggles women have endured - not only as soldiers but the paths that our fore-mothers have set so that we could have as much freedom as women as we do today.
You really can't help but get engrossed in the life of Lt. Armitage and her struggles as a Navy Seal. "Beyond Those Hills" is full of action, controversy, love, and so much more...I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good read!
