This 2017 eclipse will be visible to people located in some 13 states. It will track across the entire country on roughly a southeasterly track. It begins for viewers at Lincoln Beach, Oregon and finishes at Charleston, South Carolina.
During the total solar eclipse, over 1000 American cities will participate. The largest of these is Nashville, TN. Other larger cities include Columbia and SC, Salem, OR. Both St. Louis and Kansas City are split by this eclipse. Viewers there will need to know where to be located on August 21, 2017 to have the best experience.
