Great upgrade. All my old bands work. Love it!
Love the bigger screen and slightly beefier case. I can really tell the difference compare to my series 5. Too expensive in Japan because of the weak yen but I look at it as an investment in my health. I'm using it to track my fitness, diet, and sleep. And I'm more motivated to stick with it because I just spent so much money on it! The only negative is my other watches are neglected. Also, battery life lasts me 2 days, which is great, but that still doesn't get 5 stars. Gimme a week and we'll talk.

とにかく見易い。そして飽き性の私にとって文字盤変更は数本時計を買うのと同じ価値です。

良い点は当然iPhoneとの互換性が良いのと、腕につけているのでメールやアラームがすぐわかる。

 Apple Watch series6から導入して充電速度UPの触れ込みでseries7に変更、でもバッテリー持ち時間は何ともし難く、昨年発売時にseries8と共に追加となったこのultraが気になっていました。
今年の７月のプライムデーで過去最大値引きの−19%値下げで出品されていた為迷わずポチり。（とは言っても１０枚論吉君が飛んで行くので相当思い切った決断でした。←当然嫁には内緒）ま、腕に付けてる時計が若干変わっても多分気が付かないだろうの方に賭けて、、、

注文後直ぐに到着するかと思いきや、３週間以上待たされる羽目に。（←なんでもプライムデーで注文が殺到してそうなったらしい）
当然日時指定が出来なくて、運悪く日中に嫁が受け取りしちゃった。（あちゃー）

「これはなんなん？」の詰問に敢えなく真相を暴露することに。
「ふ〜〜ん」「10万円を簡単に買えるんだー」「いい身分だねー」嫁の波状攻撃開始！！
もう何も言えましぇん😪

内心ウキウキしてる心を隠して半ば事務的に開封。
ん、外装ケースがちょっと汚れてるかな？
ケースの材質も明らかにクォリティが下がっており、series7のようにシュリングフィルムも付いていない。よって汚れも付着し易くなってる。
ここは改悪ポイントかな。
ま、気を取り直して開封作業を進める。
シュリングフィルムが無い分、本体ケース左右にペリペリシールが追加してある。
これを剥がしてご開帳！！
Watch本体のカバーも簡素化されてます。
取り敢えずまずはiPhoneとのペアリングをしようと充電器にセットすると、あれあれ？謎のヘビマークが出現。
以前に聞いたことがあり、バッテリー残量が「０」だと出現するそうな。
発売されてまもなくならいざ知らず、既に10ヶ月程経過してるとなるとさもありなん。
バッテリーが劣化していないことを念じつつしばし充電続行。
ネットによればこの状態になると最悪半日位は充電が必要だと。（復活しないケースもあるような）
幸い３時間ほど充電したら復活しました。
よかったよかった！！
iPhoneとのペアリングは特に問題なし。
（良かった点）
・やはり見た目の高級感（チタンカラーも含めて）
・フラットな画面はiPhoneにも通じて好みで良きかな
・専用のバンドのトレイルーフS/Mサイズがカジュアルで良い　但し、何故か割引モデルはサイズが限定されておりM/Lは割引無し。（ここはマイナスポイントかな？）
・懸念していた重量増は自分には許容範囲でした。
・肝心のバッテリーの持ちはまぁ及第点ってところかな？（２日は持たないので）
・今まで使っていたベルトが普通に使える点
・充電器のケーブルが編み上げ模様で高そうだし充電速度も申し分無し
（イマイチな点）
・49mmとオリジナルモデルよりも大分大きいイメージがあったけど、画面サイズは45mmタイプと遜色無し。（てかほぼ同じ）
・平面化された画面は良いとして、ベゼルが角張ってるためヒットしたら確実に傷が付きそう（チタンとは言え角はダメでしょう）←速攻で保護ケースを着けました。
・ハード面はは確かに進化したけど、色々弄ってみてもソフト面はあまり変わり映え無し（専用の文字盤もひとつだけ？）ダイビング用の画面もあるらしいけどダイビングなんてしないしね。
アップデートで専用画面が追加されることを切に希望します。
・良かった点にも記載したけど、ベルトのサイズが限定された点。出来ればM/Lサイズが欲しかった。（S/Mサイズも使えなくは無いけどWatchの取り外しが大変←手が大き過ぎる？　いや、多分普通の男性ならM/Lサイズ一択だと思う。）
大幅な割引きもその辺が影響してるのかも。（M/Lは選べなかったからね。）
まぁバンドは他のものあるし、元々消耗品だからそこは我慢。

総合的に見て、Apple Watch Series7からのグレードアップはまずまずでした。（安かったからね）
バッテリーの持ちはまぁ及第点。（出来れば丸２日は持って欲しかった。）
見た目の印象が変わって所有欲は高まりました。
もうオリジナルモデルには戻れません。
今年の年次改良にも興味津々。（もう買えませんけど、、、）

Apple Watchは発売当初から今まで、「1日しかバッテリーがもたないとか時計を名乗る資格無いわ」とバカにしてきました。
HUAWEIやAmazfitのスマートウォッチを買い、便利に使ってきました。
ある日iPhoneの修理にAppleStoreへ行ったとき、ディスプレイされていたこのUltraを見つけました。
店員曰く「こいつは36時間もつ、低電力モードならその倍だぜ」とのこと。
72時間なら使えるかも、とブラックフライデーセールにて購入。
結果毎日充電には全く抵抗なく、iPhone/iPadを愛用しているのになぜ今まで買わなかったのかと後悔しています。
AppleStoreの店員は「買ったらベルト沼が待ってる」と宣っていましたが、まさに今嵌っています。
