For runners: Lawyer up helps remove crim those tags from account siphons. Sharpshooter is a nice shaper breaker (pesky AP subroutines). Garrotte is another sentry breaker for crim but I have not used it personally. Overall this data pack favors corp side better.
*Activist Support (2) In my mind’s eye I can see some kind of crazy combo with Data Leak Reversal. But it’s probably not the greatest. Still fun to dream though.
*Capstone (2.5) First off, the art is really ironic. The Professor would be one of the last identities I see making good use of this. Also the card isn’t great. While on one hand it helps make your draws more efficient. On the other hand it’s just a little too wonky to be click efficient.
*Curtain Wall (4) Wow. Just wow. This is a strong piece of ice. Yes it comes with a bit of a hefty price tag. But there are tricks to get it rezzed for a few credits. This is what Weyland ice is all about.
*Fenris (3) A much debated card. Some people think Fenris is strong. Others think he’s too easy to get through. I think he’s decent. Just run at least 2 of to make sure you land the brain damage.
*Garrote (3) It’s arguably the best sentry breaker in the game. Unfortunately with that steep 2 MU draw back and the fact it costs 7 credits, means it doesn’t always see the most play. I think the designers were making another Torch. But that 2 MU. It’s rough.
*Keyhole (4) Now here is a 2 MU card that wins games. This card can punish the corp hard. Some people hate it because they feel it slows the game down with all the shuffling. I say, if you got a tool, use it!
*Lawyer Up (3) Probably the least played 3 rated (in my opinion) card in the game. It’s really good. Works well with Account Syphon. And yet it never gets ran. Even I don’t. Ironic. But there you go.
*Leverage (1) The issue is that the corp will take the 2 bad pub to kill you. Or just let you prevent the damage if it’s irrelevant. Either way, it’s not going to save your bacon.
*LLDS Processor (0) Garbage. I would be shocked if I ever saw anyone play this. How many times do you drop a single ice breaker, pump it once, and then win the game? Yeah me either.
*Panic Button (2.5) Neat, but hard to find a deck slot for. Especially because if they get through, at 2 trash cost it’s definitely getting trashed. Hopefully someone breaks this card eventually though.
*Punitive Counterstrike (4) This card makes Weyland look very scary. Well scarier I guess. Hey sweet, I stole a 3 point agenda…and not I’m dead! This card really amps the corp up even more. Like it a lot, even against a runner who has lots of link.
*Rex Campaign (1) The card effect is fine. But it is too cheap to trash for what it does. Yes you can net 4 credits. But why in the world would the runner let that go? So that forces you to protect it for a minimum of 3 turns. Possibly 4. So, meh.
*RSVP (3.5) Solid NBN ice. It doesn’t need an ETR routine on it. Because you are going to ETR anyway. One fun thing to do with it is bait the runner into making it through this and seeing a NAPD contracts. It makes them sad.
*Sharpshooter (3) You’d think at a glance that this would be terrible. But it’s not for a very important reason; it’s a Shaper card. There are lots of ways to bring this back. Archer’s of the world beware!
*Shock! (3) Cheaper than Snare! but also substantially more weak. I personally like it because you can load up your archives with them and the runner has to deal with them every time. Pretty cool.
*Starlight Crusade Funding (0) Someday this may not have the distinction of being the worst Netrunner card that has ever been made. As of today it still rings true. And it will be tomorrow as well.
*Sweeps Week (4) Not the best money card. Because late game you could be making very little money off it. But draw it opening hand playing Andy? So, so, so, so enjoyable.
*TGTBT (3) What’s up with NBN and their acronym cards in this pack? Well they are both solid so I guess I won’t complain. I like agenda’s that protect themselves. Or have a nasty drawback for the runner. This falls into the latter.
*Tsurugi (3) More ice that would love to straight up kill the runner. It’s not cheap though.
*Veterans Program (3) Not bad. Especially if you have issues with bad pub.
Overall: There are some strong cards in the pack like Keyhole, Punitive Counterstrike, and Sweeps Week. Maybe not a mandatory buy. But definitely an excellent add to your Netrunner collection. 2 thumbs up.
