She looks exactly like the photos - very pretty! One thing to note is that there is a somewhat large optional support pole that kind of clips onto the circle where she sits. It has double sided tape at the bottom that you peel off on one side - you should probably use the pole to prevent sagging in the future. The mermaid tail is a tight fit and rather difficult to insert into her back (I had to use a hairdryer on the peg), I was afraid of breaking it. It's better to deviate from the instructions and insert the tail before hooking her circular base to the stand. It'll prevent accidentally pushing her out of the hook or peg and breaking her as she does slowly slide out of it if you struggle to put her tail. She barely fits into a detolf, but because her base is so big she looks better as a standalone in her own shelf. I put her at the very top of my detolf instead and you can probably fit only one more scale with a small base next to her. Although my box came a tiny bit creased (typical of amazon), there was no damage to the figure luckily as this one has a lot of tiny decorations. It is a huge box, you'll have to make some space for that too. Also her protective box is secured with those metal twisty ties, I'd recommend using a nail clipper to easily cut it.
Otherwise I love this figure and she's a centerpiece to my collection. Apex isn't known to shade very much, but I see some decent shading overall - nothing too strong or amazing. On her boots there's light pearlescent pink shades on top of the white. There's gradient shading on her skirt + hair and lots of little details in her outfit. Even from the front angle where she's not facing you looks gorgeous. Very girly and pleasing figure to look at, it was worth the price!
