つい先日祖母に結婚を勧められた。
そんな私にはこの本は読むべくして読んだ一冊と言える。
祖母は私に、人間として生まれたのだから子孫を残すことが義務であり、それができない内は立派な人間にはなれない、と、まさにこの小説に出てくるようなセリフを言った。
すごい、この小説、怖いくらいリアル。
だけど私は悲しいことにポハピピンポボピア星人にはなれない。
宇宙人の眼を持つこともない。
中途半端に洗脳されている、いや解けているのかな、確かなのは私は地球星人としては落第点ということだ。
私は子供を作りたくない。
この世界に生まれる子供を幸せに育てれるとはとても思えない。
私が地球星人になるために子供が必要なら、私は死ぬまで中途半端でいい。
正直に言ってポハピピンポボピア星人もちょっと怖い。
そっちでうまくやっていける自信もないから、だましだましなんとやっていけないかなあ。
最後まで行くと理解が及ばなくなるけど中盤まではかなり感情移入していたので、恋愛や結婚、繁殖といったものに疑問を感じている人は一度読んでみてもいいかもしれない。
しかしなんで地球星人は子供を虐待して殺してしまうのだろう、私はそれが本当に悲しくて心苦しいのです。
