Justin Bienvenue is a multi-genre novelist and creatively inspired poet. He was born in and resides in Massachusetts. His passion and interest in writing began in high school in 2002 when he began writing poetry about whatever popped into his head.
He wrote his first book "The Macabre Masterpiece: Poems of Horror and Gore", A Poe inspired and infused book of poetry with dark themes and notations published in 2011 which was republished in 2014. His second novel is a western horror entitled, "A Bloody Bloody Mess In The Wild Wild West", which takes place five years after the Civil War. It published in 2013.
For his third book he went back to his origins with another poetry book, "Like A Box of Chocolates" a book of poems within several different genres that are at times fun and fictional but also emotional and real. His fourth book is a Crime Thriller/Historical Fiction called "Opium Warfare" which tells of the rise of opium in 1920's Shanghai.
Aside from writing poetry and multiple genres he also writes short stories and drabbles(100 word stories). He has a background in creative writing and is a freelanced indie author.
Aside from being an indie author, Justin also helps and interviews his fellow authors on his interview blog #IndieAuthorTactics and http://indieauthortactics.tumblr.com/ as well as recommending books by indie authors on twitter using the hashtag #RecommendationWednesday. He also runs a horror blog called "Hundred Year Old Horror" on Goodreads and Pinterest.
