This version gets a lot of crap often being considered the inferior version compared to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive counterpart, but this game is still dope. In my opinion, the music is clearer than the Sega version; the Sega version just resonates/echoes more. I prefer the sound effects of this game better. People say the slow down is horrible, but its not really that bad and doesn't take much away from this great game. If you love the Thunder Force Franchise, you should enjoy this game. With catchy music, fun gameplay, decent colors, and the classic Thunder Force weapon options, this game is an awesome shmup.
