A beautiful selection of hits, b-sides and album tracks make up this album, taken from a Japanese film with the strangely Italian-sounding name - Calmi Cuori Appassionati. Perhaps it was filmed in Italy - I don't know! What I do know is that this is a Japanese import (the page of lyrics is in both Japanese and English, although other information is in Japanese), so you will have to hunt in record shops (or come to Amazon for it). The cuts come from virtually all of Enya's albums and show off the extraordinary talents of Rona Ryan (lyricist), Enya (composer and multi-instrumentalist) and Nicky Ryan (producer). Enya was in the band for two albums and Nicky Ryan was the manager until Enya went solo. So, a lovely introduction to the music of Enya which may prompt you to buy more of her music and, perhaps, check out the film. All Enya completists will want this little masterpiece.
Yet another classically trained musician who continually excels with every recording. Always a delight and with occassionally haunting sounds. I have never but been absolutely amazed at her work.
