前作までは非常に声がピュアで幼く、
柔らかい、可愛らしい印象を受けるボーカルの曲が多かったのに対し、
今作では一気に「落ち着き」「セクシーさ」「クールさ」が目立つようになりました。

先行シングルの「Boyfriend」や1曲目「All Around The World」は
その中でもキャッチーで聴きやすい。

個人的にお気に入りなのは「Catching Feeling」。
ビーバーらしい柔らかいボーカルが楽しめます。でもやっぱり大人っぽい。

前作はBabyやSomebody To Loveくらいしか好きになれなかったんですが、
今回は結構イイ線いってます。

ただ、曲調やメロディーが割と似たり寄ったりなので飽きるのは早いかも。
それでも前作からの進化や成長が見られる点、音楽的な成熟を見せた点はGOODです。

子供と大人の間のジャスティンビーバーという感じです。次のアルバムのパーパスに向けて少し大人っぽくなりかけてる様な曲もチラホラ。

どうしても今までアイドルのイメージが強く、本人はアーティストとしてもっと成長したいと思ってたのではないでしょうか。
ほぼ全曲に本人も関わっていて、気合いが伝わってくる作品だと思います。
プロデューサー陣もMessengersやRodney Jerkins,Mike PosnerなどR&B寄りです。
かと言って背伸びし過ぎず、今のジャスティンにしか出来ない良質なポップアルバムに仕上がってます。

1では"Baby"でのLudacrisとのゴールデンコンビが再び実現、
フックの後のビートが印象的な曲です。

先行公開されていた3ですが、
流行のダブステップを取り入れた、ロドニー製の曲です。
フック部分はライブで合唱できそうなキャッチーさ。

個人的に好きな4では、ジャスティンの美声が存分に活かされてます。
メロディーがシンプルだけど綺麗な、女の子受けする曲だと思います。

また今回はラッパーの起用も目玉です。
DrakeとNicki Minajというヤングマネー陣もバックアップしてます。
Nicki参加の10は、RihannaのWhere Have You Beenのように、
強いビートをメインに置いたダンスナンバーです。
Nickiのラップパートの歌詞も楽しいです！

そしてタイトル曲の13は彼の"Believer"(彼のファンの総称）達に贈られた曲。
こういうファンを大事に思うところが彼の何よりの魅力です。

とにかくこのアルバムは前フルアルバム"My Worlds"からの成長、そして彼のアーティスト性が見える"swaggie"なアルバムです！
まだまだ彼のキャリアは始まったばかりですが、ただのアイドルでは終わらないことを証明できたのではないでしょうか。

きっと、これを買う時にdvdが日本で映るか、Tシャツのサイズ　などについて悩んでいる方もいると思うので、いろいろ書きたいと思います　:))

*DVDは普通に日本のDVDプレイヤーで映ります!内容は、アメリカのツアーのバックステージの様子や、このalbumのレコーディング風景やboyfriendのpvの撮影風景などで、日頃はあまり見られないjustinが見れていいです!!

*CDにはいってる曲も、もちろん全部いい感じです♪　my worldsの時とグッと大人になったjustinがすごくカッコイイです!!

*TシャツはレディースのMサイズで、体にフィットするような薄手のTシャツです!
身長が160センチの私がぴったりなので、一般的な日本人の体形の方であれば問題なく着れると思います!

*リストバンドはTシャツのデザインにもしっかり合うし、結構しっかりした作りです!

*ピンバッチもjustinがはいている、ゴールドのハイカットのデザインですごくおしゃれです! ;)

すべてがパッキングされている箱もすごくしっかりしていて全面justinですごくいいです!!<3

とにかく、belieberなら買って損なしのモノなので
迷ってる方は絶対に勝った方がいいと思います!!

I want to remind back to when `Boyfriend' was released. Previous to that, I had only heard Bieber songs in about ten second segments on the radio before turning them off. He just wasn't my style. I never begrudged him or made fun of him, and I noticed talent (he has a voice) but I didn't care to listen to him. `Boyfriend' was inescapable. It was everywhere. Turn on the TV and they were featuring it and every radio station was playing it in unison. I hated it (still do). Listening to Bieber explain this "cool sexy rap thing" he was trying out was painful. It doesn't work and it sounds almost desperate for attention or acceptance. It's sad, because the moments in the song where he actually sings (with the acoustic guitar breakdown) is nice. That said, the song itself is terrible.

But Bieber fans, relax, I'm getting to the good part of the review.

So, with that I was determined to avoid this guy as best I could. Then I heard `As Long As You Love Me'. Yes, once again Bieber was everywhere and his song was getting so much attention it was unavoidable. That being said; `As Long As You Love Me' was a good song! Sure, it isn't smart or original or lyrically intriguing ("you could be my Destiny's Child") but the beat is sick and Justin's vocals are smooth and the overall effect is fun and fresh and just grabs your attention. For the kind of music it is, it works. After hearing `Beauty and a Beat' I decided that I wanted to hear the rest of the album. I wasn't sure if I was going to be rewarded or not, but I knew that it couldn't hurt.

This album is pretty good!

It's weird to say that I feel like a teenager when listening to Bieber, but I mean that in a different sense than you might expect. Sure, I feel young because of the fact that Bieber's fanbase consists of teenage girls, but there is something nostalgic about Bieber's album here. Parts of this album remind me of the boybands I listened to when I was twelve; the Backstreet Boys in particular. Some tracks have such a slick R&B vibe to them that I recall the first time I heard `Candy Rain' and I'm in love. Yeah, I'm digging parts of this album in a big way.

It's not all good though. Bieber has a tendency to whine in some of his songs. Even the otherwise wonderful `Fall' suffers from whiney delivery on the verses (that chorus is wonderful though). His more beat heavy tracks (the better songs on the album) are lyrically simple and so they can be deemed somewhat dumb, and his more `thoughtful' tracks are pretty cheesy in their attempt to over-depict adolescent love. Still, as a collective album this one is hard to dislike. With Nikki Minaj and Drake blessing specific tracks, and Bieber's willingness to explore a variety of sounds (I swear, `As Long As You Love Me' sounds like something Linkin Park would have `Re-Animated' and `Die in Your Arms' is a blissful Jackson 5 throwback) `Believe' is a very well rounded album.

Ich bin nun seit 2010 Justin Bieber Fan. Und um ehrlich zu sein,hatte ich erstmal Angst,Justin's Stimme könnte nach dem Stimmenbruch total versagen. Aber im Gegenteil!!!
Das Album ist echt Genial! Jeder Lied ist ein Hit , und ich muss sagen,das ich noch nie so ein gutes Album gehört habe! Hier beschreibe ich mal jedes Lied:

All Around The World: Eine schnelle Nummer , mit einem guten Beat. Der Song ist finde ich ein toller Start für Believe.

Boyfriend : Justin's Durchbruch Song für sein neues Image. Ich mag den Hip Hop Song. Der Song bleibt für mich mit 'Call Me Maybe' von Carly Rae Jepsen,der Sommersong 2012.

As Long As You Love Me : Eines meiner Lieblingssongs auf diesem Album. Der Sound ist komplett anders,habe ich bisher noch nie gehört. Aber ich finde den Song echt Klasse. Und das Video dazu hat mich auch umgehauen. Da konnte man sehen,wie Reif Justin geworden ist.

Catching Feelings: Meiner Meinung nach ein süßer Ruhiger Song , der einfach Glücklich macht und Entspannt.

Take You : Ich wundere mich das der Song nicht für den Sommer in die Charts kam. Finde ich schade,da ich finde mit 'Take You' nochmal der Sommer hergerufen wird , nach dem Sound her. Ich mag Take You .

Right Here: Finde ich auch toll,nur ich finde ihn zu Eintönig , ist deswegen der Song den ich am wenigsten von diesem Album mag. Aber Drake passt gut in den Song!

Fall: Eines meiner Lieblingslieder. Ich habe echt noch nie so einen süßen Text gehört. Die Melodie ist auch echt schön. Sogar meine Mutter, die sonst immer gegen Justin's Musik ist,ihn jedoch als Musiker Respektiert, mag den Song und findet ihn schön , was mich selbst gewundert hatte.

Die In Your Arms: Schöner Song, mit Italienischen Styl . Gefällt mir gut.

Thought Of You : Da wird Justins Stimme unter beweis gestellt. Dort kommen hohe Töne , die nur wircklich gute Sänger beherrschen,drin vor. Nur schade,das diesen Song Justin nicht bei seiner 'Believe-Tour' performt.

Beauty And A Beat: Der Song ist echt eines meiner Lieblingslieder.Das Video kam vor ich glaube 4 Tagen raus , und hat jetzt schon ca. 40 Millionen Aufrufe!! Innerhalb 24 Stunden hatte der Song über 10 Millionen Aufrufe,und damit den Youtube Rekord geknackt,wie es der Justin mit seinen Songs doch immer tut. Mittlerweile hat er mehr als 3 Billionen Klicks auf Youtube. Aber der Song ist wircklich Spitze!

One Love: Ein süßer Song. Ich weiß nicht was ich dazu sonst noch sagen soll. Mich stört es nicht,das Justin den Song nicht bei der Believe Tour spielt.

Be Alright: Ich liebe den Song. Ich finde ihn wunderschön..Die Melodie,und den Text. Einfach Traumhaft,und beruhigt einen immer in schweren Zeiten.

Believe: Der Song,der an die Fans gewidmet wurde. Als ich den Song hörte dachte ich nur: Einen Menschen,der sich so sehr für seine Fans bedankt...Er bedankt sich jeden Tag bei seinen Fans,und sagt ihnen wie sehr er sie liebt..sowas machen nur leute mit einem großen Herzen , und somit sieht man,das Justin seit fast 5 Jahren Showbiz , noch nicht abgehoben ist,und es erstmal auch nicht wird.

Out Of Town Girl: Ich mag den Song,ich kann den nicht wircklich beschreiben. Justin performt ihn auch ganz locker auf seiner Believe Tour, und bringt die Fans am Anfang von Out Of Town Girl auf der Bühne zum Grinsen.

She Don't Like The Lights: Ein Highlight auf der Believe Tour! Live wird er mit Rockelementen gespielt,und bringt die Fans zum kreischen! Der Song hört sich Live um einiges besser an,und rockt total ,so , wie man auf Youtube Videos davon sieht.

Maria: Ein Song,der an Micheal Jaxon erinnert,und auch als Ohrwurm im Kopf bleibt. Top Song!

Ganz in einem ist Believe Spitze!! Bald wird auch noch Believe Akustik erscheinen,worauf ich mich auch schon echt freue. Auf dem Englischen Wikipedia steht,Justin plant auch noch,Believe 2.0 Rauszubringen. Bin gespannt. Aber freuen tuhe ich mich schon,wenn Justin hier in Deutschland mit seiner Believe Tour ist,da ich diese in Hamburg mit meiner Mutter,und in Dortmund mit meiner Besten Freundin besuchen werde,und mein Idol endlich mal Live sehen kann!

Das Album ist einfach zu empfehlen,genau, wie die Konzerte von ihm! Noch sind die Tickets seiner Konzerte in Hamburg,Dortmund,Berlin,Köln,Frankfurt und München noch nicht ausverkauft!Also zugreifen! =)

For the record, I am far from a "Belieber," although nor have I wasted time hating on this kid. But after hearing the slick "Boyfriend" and the heavy beat on "As Long As You Love Me." I wanted to give this a listen, just like Justin Timberlake had drawn me in a decade ago with "Like I Love You."

Yes, this album has it's flaws. It's easy to deride the often simplistic lyrics and some may say the "Believe" mantra is a little cheesy. But being in the tough spot of trying to appease his mostly "Tweener" fan base, whilst also trying to appeal to a wider audience, this is as well as you could hope to pull it off.

Justin walks the line of trying to be more mature, without being overly "Sexy," just right. And to me at least, it is quite refreshing to hear a somewhat naive and innocent view of love for once. With so much comparison to Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, I would say this album falls somewhere right between MJ's "Bad" and Timberlake's "Justified," in what it is trying to accomplish.

For the most part the album is laced with some nice dance beats,akin to the kind that rappers such as Drake, Lil' Wayne and Nicki Minaj would rely upon. "As Long As You Love Me," "Thought Of You" & "Beauty And The Beat" pull off that formula most effectively.

Of course when it comes time to slow it down tracks like "Right Here," "Fall" (An unexpected surprise favourite of mine.) & "Die In Your Arms," do that nicely. "Die In Your Arms" also features a Jackson 5 sample. As a huge MJ fan I usually worry when people sample his songs, but this is handled nicely and is more of an affectionate nod to the late "King Of Pop." Probably due to Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins producing the track, having of course worked previously with MJ himself on his album "Invincible."

Things do begin to tail off a little towards the end, "One Love" comes across as a little lazy, "Be Alright" is obviously just there to be the acoustic, "just Justin and his guitar" track and the attempted anthem in "Believe" will probably seem cheesy to anyone who isn't already a "Belieber."

However, the 3 bonus tracks are well worth the money too, with any of them being worthy of a spot on the album itself. Again I was most interested in the heavily "Billie Jean" influenced "Maria." The beat seems a little unfinished somehow, lacking the polish of the earlier songs, but Justin pulls off the vocal excellently and again the final refrain of, "She's not my girl," comes across as a nod to MJ, rather than a straight rip-off.

Obviously a lot is owed to the various producers & writers such as Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Mike Posner & Britney collaborator Max Martin, who provide clean, crisp beats. But Justin holds his own vocally and it all comes together as a nicely crafted pop album. Will it be remembered in a few years time? Probably not. But in a sense, with a fan base that is going to grow up as he does, that's not really the point.

Justin Bieber is definitely one of those artist who u either hate or love, im kind of a casual justin Bieber listener and i thought this album was ight. Very generic pop from a male pop act of that time, doesn't draw any differences from other male pop acts like one direction or chris brown but its still a good album. It is filled of radio hits and some of the production has not aged well at all (very dated). But the most enjoyable part of this record is the 2nd track boyfriend, absolutely amazing and is clearly the stand out song from this entire record. But the rest of the album is very much typical justin.
