I posted three images so that you could see more closely what they look like (pen scribbles in order left to right). Some of them are a bit darker than what the outside looks like, but most are pretty similar. The second picture is the other side of the scribbles paper, you can see some bleeding with the heavy squares I did. I didn't have even a tiny problem in the coloring book I was using though (made of a card stock type paper) so I definitely recommend them for that, but on thinner paper you'll have to be more careful. The tips were very thin and perfect for the tiny lines in the coloring book I was using; hopefully the picture of that was helpful.

Overall, I am very happy with these fine tipped pens. The biggest plus is the case design...very sturdy build, flips open to display pens for easy use. In fact, I would have purchased the largest assortment of pens, but since they only come in a cardboard box, not the plastic case, I decided against it. After a few weeks of use, I have had 2 pens quit working completely. My light grey, and light green no longer color at all. I only use them for tiny detailed areas, so I can't imagine they could possibly be out of ink, all the others work fine. The vibrant shades, along with the precise tips make these a perfect compliment to my detailed greeting cards. I will be recovering soon from spinal surgery and wanted a larger color selection to use for all the cards I will be coloring, unfortunately I chose to go with a different brand. Having 2 pens already not working, and no plastic case to store my larger collection in, has made up my mind. Perhaps the developers could consider repackaging their larger sets in the fantastic display case of the smaller sets. I give these pens a B+ for ease of use and color selection.
This is my second time purchasing these pens, this set is for my daughter. She loved them so much she wanted her own set. The reasons I love them: how fine tip they are, they don’t bleed outwards or through notebook paper, computer paper or notecards, they do not cause paper to pill, they write smoothly and glide across paper, they are thin and lightweight making it easier to handle (I have ridiculously small hands, like toddler hands on an adult woman). I don’t use these to color or for artistic work, I use these solely for writing purposes and journaling/note taking. So my opinion of these are limited to that.
I've only had them a few days but I really like these. I am in architectural design school and got these for making fine lines on my drawings. I was a little worried the markers would bleed or smudge but I had zero issues with that.
I will say that the paper I was using was a thicker and more porous paper than some out there so definitely test the smudge theory on a scratch paper before you apply them to anything significant.. my professor grades on smudges so I was terrified I'd have to start over lol.
They performed really really well and work amazingly with straight edges.
I really love these and the case they come in is a nice bonus. I love colored ink pens, but hate the bleed through, these when writing normally, do not bleed through. I especially love them for underlying in my bible, because they don't bleed through the thin paper, and I don't need to dig for a highlighter. Lastly, they are priced nicely. I use to love uniball colored pens, but they bleed through and are more expensive for less pens.
