彼女の出したシングルの中でも最も素晴らしい曲だと思います。
夜の街を駆ける様な煌びやかでセンチメンタルなシティポップ。
電子音の構成もファーストアルバムの頃に比べ格段に洗練されていて、
トラックだけでも充分楽しめるほどの出来。そこに宇多田の透き通る
歌声が乗り、どこまでも聴き手をアゲてくれます。
歌詞の韻の踏み方も絶妙で、歌の心地よさを全く削ぐことのない「流れ」
を作っています（歌詞の内容については、僕は余り関心ないです）
他のいわゆる「R&Bモドキ」のミュージシャンとは次元が違うでしょう。
彼女の作る曲の持つ、流行や感情を抜きにした音楽的な純度。圧倒的です。

この曲を2001年最高のポップ･ソングと絶賛した知人がいるのですが、
その意見に私も全面的に賛成です。
もしレコ大の審査員が私一人だったら即決でコレ!!!
こうして2年近くの歳月がたっても未だにノれる。
こんなに長生きのJ-POPは本当に久しぶり。
テクノともハウスともつかないよく弾むビートといい、
哀愁を漂わせる美メロといい、

ダンスミュージックと侮る無かれ。
さすがはヒッキー、フロアー仕様の曲でもキッチリ決めてくる。

リミックスは2つとも悪くは無いけれど、
原曲が良過ぎるとかえって立たないこともありますよね。

曲とは関係ないけどPVスゴスギ!!
ファイナルファンタジーでも見てるみたいだった。
DVDシングルがソッコーでSOLD OUTってのもうなずける話。

それにしてもどうしてこの曲はミリオンを達成できなかったのだろう?
時代が時代とはいえ、大いなる謎です。

　宇多田ヒカルの物まねをするタレントって多いですよね。特徴があって真似しやすいんですかね？閑話休題、洋楽の影響を受けようが、R&Bと言おうが、日本語で詩を書くのに苦労しようが、宇多田ヒカルは曲を作るのがうまいですし、この曲は日本語でよくここまでリズム感が出されたなと言うほど彼女の曲の中で最高の曲です。なかなかこんなことできませんよ。
