●「MotorStormとは」
プレイヤーが選択できるマシンはオフロードバイク、ダートバギー、レーストラック、ラリーマシン、四輪バイクなど。もちろん、各マシンの性能は全く違うため、コースの状態やレースの内容を考慮した、マシン選択が重要になる。バリエーション豊かなコースを収録。谷底を走るコースや、崖の上を走るコースなど、見た目の変化やプレイ状況が変わる楽しさを追求している。また、このレースには主だったルールがなく、ただ誰よりも早くゴールすることだけが目標となる。よって、指定されたルートを外れて、谷底を走破したり、崖越え飛び越えて近道することもOK。プレイヤー自身がコースを攻略する楽しみがある。また、ド迫力の「クラッシュリプレイ」シーンもプレイの楽しみ。100パーツ以上で構成されたマシンが、壁や敵車に激突すると、マシンのパーツがバラバラに飛び散る様は必見!

PS3発売と同時にリリースされた当時、何かと話題になったゲームにオンラインや追加ものが込み込みで入っています。
操作に慣れてない状況ではビリになりっぱなしでしたが、毎日2~3レース楽しむだけでも面白いように上達します。それにしても自由度が高いゲームです。
車種やコースは沢山入っているはずなのに、初めは3コースしかないと思い込んでいましたが、タイムアタックやオンラインなどではコース制限がなく、最初から全部楽しめます。
デモゲームとは雲泥の差のボリュームなのは言うまでもないですが、コースによっては本当にジェットコースターに乗っているような爽快感があり、楽しいです。
車大好きな息子がこのゲームでバイク好きになりました。（バイクは危ないと言ってますが）
早くも2発売に期待です。

早数ヶ月経ちますが飽きずに楽しくプレイしてます。
まず、書きたいことは本作のウリになっている「すべての追加コンテンツを収録」
はオンラインに繋げないと楽しめないので（間違ってたらゴメンなさい）オンに
繋いでない方は本作を買う意味はないと思われます。オフでプレイするだけなら
中古のオリジナル版で十分です。オンライン環境が整っていて、レースゲームが
好きな方は躊躇せず買って下さい。正直、面白いです。中毒性があります。
現在、私の中でもっとも回転率の高いソフトです。（アイドルマスターはお休み）

本作でオンラインデビューして、色々な人達と走ってきましたが（○○○488）最初
はボロボロでした。強者達の前では私なんて赤子同然で最下位は当たり前。オリジナ
ル版は一応クリアしたんで少しは自信あったんですが・・・　一位を取ろうと思った
ら相当修行が必要です。でも、やればやるほど上達していくので心配ありません。レ
ースゲームに参加してその過程を楽しめれば、結果はおのずとついてきます。自分が
そうでした。少しは強者のテールランプを拝めるようになってきたかな（笑）

ゲーム内容についてはオリジナル版で沢山レビューされているので未プレイの方はそ
ちらでご確認下さい。私はもっとオンライン人口が増える事を願っています。
時間帯は午後9時前後ぐらいから賑やかになってきているようです。

PS3を2007年2月に購入してから、中古やBestなどが出れば買ってもいいなぁと思いながら一年以上経った頃に、このコンプリート盤が発売されると知ってすぐに予約しました。
やはり魅力はオンラインで知らない人とレースが出来るということもありますが、一人でひたすら派手にクラッシュするというのも楽しさの一つです。
体験版をPS3初体験者にやらせると必ずこれは面白いと遊んでますし、初心者がクラッシュしているのを周りでゲラゲラ笑いながら観るのも楽しいです。
オンラインの醍醐味はルールがないこのゲームらしく、GT5のようにマナー違反といわれることもなく他の車に体当たりして崖から落としたりとか、いきなりバイクに乗ってる他人を裏拳で殴り飛ばしたりと好き放題できることです。
音楽もこのゲームを盛り上げてくれるので、ノリノリでレースを楽しめます。
PS3を持っていて、レースが嫌いじゃなく、他人を崖から突き落とすことに何の迷いもない人には、このゲームは大変お勧めです。
