W-ZERO3を使っているのですが、PC据え置きできる外出時のために買いました。
キャップは、通常USBのコネクタを保護していますが、PCに挿入しているときにはW-SIM側に取り付けることができます。
このアダプターにW-SIMを取り付けた状態で持ち運ぶときには、USBのコネクタに他の機器に付属していたカバーをかぶせるようにして、W-SIMの脱落を防いでいます。
ウィルコムのDDより安いのが良いです。特に機種変更でDDを購入すると割高です。
DDの新規購入でW-SIMの申込書を使わない手もありますが、それよりこの商品の方が安いですから。

Advanced／W-ZERO3[es]をUSBモデムとして使用して
いた所速度が出ない・頻繁な切断等の問題が起こる
為購入しました。

W-SIMのサイズが大きい為そんなに小さいと言い難い
ですが、大き過ぎる事もないので気にするほどでは
ないと思います。速度に関しては複数ファイルのダ
ウンロードで負荷をかけた所平均70％、最大で85％
の速度を叩き出しました、無線接続にしてこの速度
は上出来だと思います。
全体的な性能としてはDDと同程度かそれ以上だと思
われます。

*転送速度は使用機器や電波状況等に左右される為記
載速度に満たない、あるいはそれ以上出る可能性が
あります。

この機器は通信機能の無い音声端末の方向けだとは
思いますが、W-ZERO3シリーズをモデム化する場合と
比べ速度がかなり向上しますので上記機器をご使用
の場合でもお勧めです。

先日AspireOne（AcerのUMPC）を買ったので、PCを持ち出すことが多くなるだろうと思い、購入しました。
私はアドエスを所持しているので、それのモデム機能を使えばいいや！と思っていたのですが、やはり電池が気になりましたので、バスパワーのこの商品で気にせずどんどん利用するようにしています。
もうちょっと小さかったらうれしかったのですが、まあこんなもの。
実測値80kbps〜120kbpsくらいでしょうか。コンスタントに100kbps以上が出るので、通信としては及第点かと思います（W-SIMの性能だと思いますが）。

フタを固定する爪がすぐ折れてしまいましたが、値段を考えればこんなものかと。
使う上で問題にはなりません。
