店頭で試聴して思わず衝動買いしました。ＴＯＴＯそのものというか、一瞬にして時間の針があの８０年代に逆戻りしたような錯覚を覚えました（特に２曲目・５曲目・８曲目！）。
もう、最初から最後まであの頃の空気に満ちあふれている、とても嬉しいアルバム。
このままブレずに、このスタイルを貫いていってほしい。
それにしても、ＴＯＴＯの活動停止は寂しい限りです・・・。

現在来日中のSteve Lukatherの4年ぶりのソロ・アルバムEver Changing Times。

ＣＤショップで試聴し迷わず買ってしまった！
ＴＯＴＯの新作も久しぶりに素晴らしく良かったが、このSteve Lukatherの4ソロ・アルバムはＴＯＴＯの絶頂期に匹敵するくらい（ほめすぎかな？）素晴らしい！

ＴＯＴＯがまた活動停止（解散！？）に入るらしいが、なんとなくSteve Lukatherのソロ・アルバムを聴いて理由がわかるような気が・・・。
ＴＯＴＯはかずかずのメンバーチェンジを繰り返してきた。
ジェフ・ポーカロの死亡があってもそれを乗り越え、４人だけになってもバンドを維持してきた。最近はボビー・キンボールも戻ってきた。
しかしＴＯＴＯは結局ルカサーとデビッド・ペイチのユニットなのかなと思う。
前のツアーから健康上の理由ということで、デビッド・ペイチがみずからの希望でツアーメンバーからはずれた。
ひょっとすると今後バンド活動には戻らないのでは？

そこでこのアルバムである！
まさしくＴＯＴＯよりＴＯＴＯらしいできばえである！
ＴＯＴＯの新作と長期間のツアーとかなり忙しかったにもかかわらずルカサーはソロアルバムを創り上げた。
現在ＴＯＴＯ＝ルカサーである。
きっとルカサーはジェフ・ポーカロもいないデビッド・ペイチもいない（最近は慕っていたマイク・ポーカロも怪我で欠場）
ＴＯＴＯをもう存続させたくないのではないか？

このソロアルバムは、８０年代の香りがする。
曲としてのクオリティが非常に高く、決してギタリストのためのギターアルバムなんかにはなっていない。
ＴＯＴＯ風バラードは絶品である。

スティーブ・ルカサーの今後に期待したい！

　一言で言って、「とても良いアルバム」。相変わらず参加ミュージシャンが豪華。ルカサーのソロ３作品（サンタメンタル抜かして）のいいとこどりのようなアルバム。１作目はストレートなロック。２作目は、ハードなフュージョンよりのロック。３作目がややブルージーなロック。どちらかと言うと、TOTOでのフラストレーションを吐き出すための？ギターアルバムだったが、今回は、けっしてギター弾きまくりではなく、ある意味TOTOのアルバムに入っていてもおかしくない曲が多い。聞かせる音楽になっている。キャッチコピー通り、ルカサーの音楽の集大成な感じのアルバム。メロディラインはきちんとしている中で、どこか遊び心にあふれている彼らしい楽曲の数々は、ルカサーしか奏でることができないもの。のっけからタイトルナンバーのいかにもルカサーロックから始まり、ラストのスティーブ・ポーカロとの「the truth」では、泣きのギターが炸裂しています。

totoファンにはもちろん、ギター好きにもおすすめできる一枚です。ルカサーのソロ作品の中では、一番聞きやすいかなと思います。
