このアルバムは本当に質が高いです。捨て曲が一つもありません。宮崎アニメからは「ナウシカ」、「ラピュタ」、「紅の豚」、「トトロ」、「ハウル」が収録されており、北野武映画からも「ＨＡＮＡＢＩ」と「キッズリターン」のテーマが収録されています。自分のお気に入りは「ナウシカ」のテーマです。ピアノソロに編曲されていますが、心に残る演奏です。ほかに耳馴染みのＣＭ曲等が収められており、捨て曲なしの名盤と言えます。できに当たり外れのある久石さんのアルバムですが、このアルバムは大当たりだといえます。飽きることなくリピートして聴いています。一枚選ぶならコレですね。

久石譲のアルバムは購入済みの曲もあり、耳慣れた曲がたくさんあります。でもなぜか今回のアルバムには新鮮味を感じてしまいます。ピアノの弾き方に魅惑され、音楽の調べに魅惑され、一粒で二度美味しい内容となっていてお薦めの一枚です。

久石さん、素晴らしいです。数多くのＣＭ曲、スクリーンサントラを手がけているのでアルバム自体誰でもすんなり入っていくことができます。ただ違うのはその音楽と演奏でイメージされる舞台が本当に浮かぶ点です。個人的に一番感じるのはこのアルバムには収録されていませんが「菊次郎の夏」サントラ収録、Ｓｕｍｍｅｒです。音楽を聴いているだけで初夏を感じ、懐かしさを感じ…このように全ての作品を作りあげるなんて本当に尊敬します。

タイトルにもあるように(そこまで考えているのかは？？)単なるピアノソロではないストーリー集です。心地よいのでたまにテレビを消してＢＧＭとして聴き入る、またはさりげなく流しているのがオススメいうかなりの価値あり作品。

結婚式披露宴の歓談用ＢＧＭとしても活躍しそうな作品ですね。
