と思いました。マジで。普遍的なメロディと歌詞、今現在のシーンとは全く関係なく鳴らされる音。つまり名曲。万人の心をわしずかみにするキラーチューン。いや、雰囲気的には流行歌と言うべきか? 花は桜君は美し、すごいフレーズですよね?満開の桜と美しい少女、そして彼女を見つめる少年、一瞬でここまで映像が浮かんじゃいました。この曲を書いたのはギターの水野良樹さん。先のレビューにもあるように、女性ボーカルによる一人称の「僕」がなんとなく太田裕美の木綿のハンカチーフを彷彿とさせます。 ボーカルは吉岡聖恵さん。ホントに上手い人ですね。できればアカペラバージョンも聴いてみたいですね。 いきものがかり。奇妙な名前からなんとなく色モノ的なものを想像してましたけどぜんぜん違いましたね(^_^;)カーステから流れてきたとき鳥肌が立ちました。こんな経験はコールドプレイのイン・マイ・プレイスを聴いた時以来かな。

いつもいきものがかりの曲を「名曲」と書いている気がする(^_^;)
でも本当にいい曲なので仕方ない！
デビュー前から、大切に歌われてきた歌らしいです。

冬が去り、春が来る〜戸惑いながらも、2人の間にも春がまた・・

アップテンポだけどどこか寂しげ。しかし、高揚する心を見事に表現しています。

余談ですが、なぜこんなに素晴らしい楽曲が作れるのか、少し調べてみると・・
どうやら「古き良き名曲」もルーツにあるようです。
カバーしている「木綿のハンカチーフ」「卒業写真」など、今の人には珍しく、
昔の素晴らしい曲をたくさん聴いているようです。

いきものがかりの曲がどこか懐かしい感じがするのも、しっかりとした
音楽的基盤が作られているから、ではないでしょうか。
・・たぶん。

静かなオープニングから一転してリズミカルなテンポの良いメロディー。シャープで伸びがある力強くもどこか切なさを漂わせるボーカル。一度離れた二人の心が雪が溶ける春の到来とともにお互いを引き合うという歌詞。全てが見事にマッチしてできたこの曲は、単なる桜ソングという枠を超越した極上のラブソングに仕上がっていると思います。コブクロの「桜」にも通じる、まだ無名だった頃の隠れた良曲にスポットが当てられ多くのファンに支持されるのは素晴らしいことですし、改めて彼らのポテンシャルの高さに驚かされます。
