サッカー選手を引退して世界中旅をしている中田英寿さんですが『クーリエジャポン』創刊２周年ということで特別企画で責任編集をしています。中田英寿さんが何を考えているのかそして何を日本人に伝えたいのかが書かれています。自分の人生を何とか演出しようという気持ちの強さがさすがだなと思いました。

様々な世界の人の考え方も載っていますし、広い世界を見渡すことができるのではないでしょうか。日本のことだけじゃなくて世界のことを知るきっかけになるかもしれません。

今号は中田英寿氏の特別編集号。
今までのように世界のニュースを取り上げつつ
彼の考えていることや思想が随所散りばめられている。

正直、私はいまいち中田さんが好きになれない。
言ってしまえば、中田さんの思想なんてどうでもいい。
世界のニュースが読みたくてクーリエを購入するのだから。

今後も中田さんがクーリエに関わっていくのだろうか。
でもクーリエにはクーリエらしさを失わないで欲しい。

若い時から、日本代用として外国を渡り歩いてきた中田。全くオリジナルな形態の旅の中から新たな未来への展望を語る見逃せない一冊。

自分達の可能性に気付いていない日本人たちへのヒデからのメッセージとも言うべきか。いまという瞬間を最も大事に生きているヒデが直に触れた“世界”を語る。
