11月25日のファンミーティングで、プロモを少しみせていただきました。

友達から譲り受けたサーフボードを抱え、「ひとりになりたい」少年が、海辺の町で一人暮しを始める…という、小さな映画仕立てとなっているようです。

ひとりになりたかった僕が、ひとりになってわかったこと……みたいな感じのキーワードも流れていました。

佐藤さん初挑戦のサーフィンをするシーンも見所のひとつでしょうか!

彼の好演とストーリーに期待して、★5つです。

普通に面白い短編映画でした。
穏やかな日常を描いた映画が好きな女性にお薦めです。
あと、私は女なので太鼓判は押せませんが、男性がご覧になっても抵抗なく観られるんじゃないかと思いました。
…あ、いや、18歳少年のほぼ一人芝居を成人男性がじっくり見てる図を、今想像してマジヤバイと気づきました。
えー、ご家族の目が気にならない男性はどうぞどうぞ。
【短編映画「White sand garden」】
「僕は気づいてしまった、人間が1人で巣箱を移れるということに(モノローグより)」
多分高校を出たての黒田映希という少年が、生まれて初めての一人暮らしで戸惑ったり寂しかったりしたのが、ちょっと落ち着くまでの話。
不動産屋さんとかお隣さんが居るものの33分ほぼ一人芝居、だけどシナリオのお陰で全然気になりません。むしろ自然。
就職も進学もしてなくて。
何となく一人暮らしをしてみようかな〜って、知らない町に来てみて。
友達からサーフボードをもらったからサーフィンやってみようかな〜なんて海辺でがんばってみたり。
でも電話以外話す相手居ないし、隣の部屋から変な音が聞こえるし、やべっ。なにこれっ。みたいな。
この怪音事件の解決で、新生活の不安で張り詰めてた空気が昇華。「あ〜そっか!」って、主人公と一緒にホッとなって何かを乗り越えた気分になれました。
演技と見せ方が上手なので、BGMは全編静かなピアノが入ってる位で効果音や演出に無理やり感がなく、そんな自然さが良い映画。
18歳の頃はドギマギしながら世間に出たよなとか、大昔の懐かしい自分を思い出しました。
今の佐藤健でしか撮れないお宝映画で、インタビューやメイキング、ドキュメンタリーもあり買って損なしでした。

内容を大きく分けると短編映画とインタビュー、メイキングと写真集のドキュメンタリーで構成されます。
短編映画については淡々とした描写の、短編小説を読んでいるような感覚でした。
何か事件が起こる訳でもなく、サーフボード片手に田舎へ越してきた一人の青年が、隣人の立てる奇妙な騒音に悩まされつつ自分について考える、というもの。

個人的な感想で言えばメイキングとドキュメンタリーが主のDVDです。写真集を見ていれば「ああ、この場面なんだ」と分かり少し嬉しくなる。
佐藤健という仮面ライダーでブレイクした役者が、ライダー以外の役にどう取り組むのか、その姿勢がかいま見れます。

ライダーではなく、佐藤健という一人の人間が好きならば買っても損はなし。
ただしそれほど好きではないのであればあえて買ってみる必要はない。

値段に応じた内容であったかと言われればそうではなかったので、星を一つ減らしました。

演技がとっても初々しいですね。
仮面ライダーとは違って一人芝居してる感じがなんとも言えず。。。
