SONYになっての1号機α100も良かったが、このα700は更に良い。ペンタプリズムを採用した見やすいファインダー、構えやすいデザイン、しっくり手になじむグリップ、軽快なシャッター、軽いけど堅牢なマグネシウムボディ等々目に見えにくい部分にしっかりコストがかけられています。それらが総合して素晴らしい道具になりました・・・って感じのモデル。画質についても見た目の派手さは一切無いがSONYの業務用ビデオに通じるナチュラルな画作りに好感が持てます。このカメラを一言で表すなら「実直」が一番近いかな。

買ってしまいました。
いままでのα7Dに比べ、合焦が早いこと早いこと。
マルチセレクターの採用とか、セレクトダイヤルが一個だけとか不満に感じる点もあるけど、慣れていないだけ？
あとはSONYのロゴと紅いα表示には、まだ抵抗が…。
ソニーに移行してから、初めて純正の縦位置グリップが出ているので当然同時購入したけど、このモデルは縦位置グリップもバッテリー専用で電池は使えないのが、いまいち不安かも。
（ま、α7Dでも電池駆動はしたことがなかったんだけど）

α-7Dを所有していますが、買い増しで購入しました。レスポンス、合焦能力等はα-7Dと比べ物のにならないほど快適で、逆光にも強いですね。最初は、α-7Dとの併用も考えましたが、無理と判断、α-7Dは弟にあげてしまいました。
しばらく使っていたのですが、２回不良交換、１度は電源入らず、もう一度はＡＦ暴走、である。ＡＦ暴走の際にレンズが故障。製品の安定にはまだまだのようです。
