JAZZが好きで、ちょっとアンニュイな中に大人の雰囲気を求めてこのディスクを購入しました。
ニューヨークを中心とした、街の夜の雰囲気が楽しめる、そこそこグッドなディスクです。
見終わって感じるのは、時間が短いことと、音楽の割りにシーンが単調です。
パリやシカゴ、ルート66などバリエーションはあるのですが、意外性が無いのが残念。
期待が大きすぎたのかもしれません。
BD自体が出始めなので、珍しさからこういう物もアリなのでしょうが、そのうち飽きられるかもしれません。
あまりJAZZ好きよりも、ちょっと雰囲気を楽しみたい人向きでしょう。

　コンセプトは面白いですし、収録曲も馴染みがあって安心でき、都市の景観や自然の風景がHDで堪能できる、という期待で購入してみました。が・・・
　個人的に極めて残念な仕様が、収録されている映像の多くに、HDのポテンシャルから考えると「あまり好ましくないエフェクトが掛っている」これに尽きます。NHKの豊富なHDアーカイブを利用しているので、てっきりありのままの原風景を楽しめると思い込んでいたのですが、スローモーションをはじめ倍速やレイヤー、彩度補正、拡大、ミラー、セピア、フィルム加工etc・・・収録曲のイメージに合わせて加えられたエフェクトの数々が「観る」楽しみを大幅に減衰させてしまっています
　恐らく作品としてはイメージコンセプト的な捉え方で、映像は音楽に合わせそれらしい「ムーディー仕様」になっているのでしょう。この点で「（”観流す”事が前提の）BGV」と割り切れれば十分購入する価値はあると思いますが、私のように景観をじっくりと堪能したい派には若干手厳しいものがあります

Jazzが好きなので、DVDが出ていた頃から気になっていましたが、ブルーレイが出たので買ってみました。週末に、ワインを飲みながらのんびり見ました。映像がもの凄くきれいです。特に、夜のネオンの輝きがいいですね。選曲も、コルトレーン、ハンコックなど本格的。個人的には、カーメン・マクレーの「ルビー・マイ・ディア」にパリの夜景を当てたものがとても良かったです。
