『シンフォニック・イエス』や『キーズトゥアセンショ・ン』と違って、クラシカルというより、『イエスソングス』のようなロック風味。

選曲も『こわれもの』の長い曲は全曲入っていて、『危機』からは、「危機」以外の２曲が入っている。
かなり７０年代の雰囲気に近い。

完成度は、「燃える朝焼け」や「悟りの境地」は、ビル・ブラッフォードがドラムを担当した『イエス・ミュージックの夜』に匹敵するのではないかと思う。
アラン・ホワイトも、ついに底力を見せ付けることができた。

全体的に、リック・ウェイクマンの音が目立つのは、かなり珍しいのではないかと思う。

「トゥービーオーバー」は、ハウのソロ・コーナーの中の一曲。
４分もあって、かなり完成度が高い。『リレイヤー』のあの曲だけど、『海洋地形学の物語』にあったんじゃないかと間違うような、牧歌的雰囲気がかなりいい。

また、「ザ・フィッシュ」も完成度が高い。途中、アランとクリスだけの、ドラマイエスが復活する。

ただ、DISK１とDISK２のミキシングに違いがあり過ぎて、DISK１はちょっとバランスが悪いのが残念。『LIVE1975』ほどつらくはないが。
