当時ハウス仕様のアルバムってやたらリリースされたが、当時カルチャーヒーローだった小泉今日子もハウスに手を出した製作したアルバム。当時の典型的ハウスサウンドは今聴くと古臭いがそれがかえって懐かしいとも言える。サウンドはリズムボックスのチープなビートが炸裂する当時としてはけっこう本気のハウスサウンドになっている。特にピチカートの小西氏の楽曲は今聴いてもかなりセンスがいい。いい意味でも悪い意味でも聞きどころは多いアルバムと言える。

とんでもない！

ここで聴かれる近田春夫作品こそ傑作です。小泉今日子との相性も素晴らしかった。これほど痛快な作品を「ダサイ」などと片付けられては、さすがに黙っておれませんでした。失礼しました。

当時聴いた時も、「CDJ」ほか小西作品のハイクオリティぶりと、近田作品のダサさの落差に驚きだったが、今聴いても変わらなかった。「流行りモノ」に手を出したが故の「古くささ」。これは数ある彼女の作品の中でももっとも恥ずかしい。でも、癖になる。
