今まで見たブルーレイディスクの作品では、一番画質が良くなかったです。
これなら、水中映像を楽しみたい方には同シリーズの海中遊泳の方をお勧めします。
あっちの方が画質が良く見えます。

〈商品感想〉
次世代メディアを使用してあるだけあって映像はそこそこ綺麗だけど、
期待していたほど高精細ではく「ＤＶＤ画質に毛が生えた」程度の印象しか残らなかった。
ＢＧＭも並の出来、再生時間も並。お買い得…とは言いにくい、正直。

〈追記(H20/01/14)〉
先日、近くのｿﾌﾏｯﾌﾟで買い取ってもらった。
買取金額は「500円」で、しかも品目が「その他」扱い。

収録されている中の、
たった一つのパートで評価を差し上げるのは邪道かもしれません。
しかし、私は小笠原の映像を目当てにこの商品を購入しました。
なので、他のパートについてはロクに見ていませんし、
あまり興味も無いので、このような形での評価となりました。

その肝心の小笠原パートですが、収録時間は僅かに２分３０秒ほど。
全編ほぼ空撮で、父島や南島、その他の島を映しますが
天気はイマイチだし、BGMのマッチング度もかなり低め。
他の方が小笠原のことを岩だらけの島と評されていますが
この映像ではそう誤解されても無理は有りません。
空撮だけで小笠原を語ることは絶対に無理です。

空撮にはそれなりの計画も予算も必要となるでしょうから
飛んではみたけど冴えない天気だったので使えない、
では済まされなかったのでしょう。
無理に入れた感が強いように思いました。

小笠原は自然がとても素晴らしいところですから
その美しさを漏らさず収録したものを単独で一本作って欲しいものです。
