夏を彩る今作は、2曲それぞれにタイアップがついた両A面シングル。
1曲は昨年の「BLUE BIRD」に続き、5月19日からオンエア中のゼスプリゴールドキウイ のCMソング、タイトルは「glitter」。
もう1曲は、8月4日映画公開に向けて5月下旬から劇場予告などが大々的に展開されて いる映画『怪談』(主演:尾上菊之助・黒木瞳)の主題歌「fated」。
『ザ・リング2』でハリウッド進出した中田秀夫監督による5年ぶりの日本映画である。
さらに7月7日より公開されているトニー・レオン、金城 武主演映画『傷だらけの男た ち』の主題歌になっている「Secret」も収録。

前作『BLUE BIRD』から約1年1ヶ月ぶり、通算41枚目のシングル。
CMソングとして大量オンエア中の『glitter』は爽快かつどこか切なさ漂う1曲で、これまでの夏シングルとは一味違う仕上がり。早くフルver.を聴いてみたい。
一方『fated』は世界50ヶ国で公開される映画『怪談』主題歌に決定している。まだ聴いたことがないのですがファンの間ではとても評判が良いです。
そして3曲目には映画『傷だらけの男たち』主題歌で最新オリジナル・アルバム『Secret』に収録されていた『Secret』をカット。

豪華タイアップ3曲が収録されたこのシングルを買って2007年の夏をエンジョイするのはどうでしょうか!

前シングルから1年以上たちましたね・・・。
glitterはゼスプリゴールドのＣＭに使われてる爽やかなアップテンポの曲です。
fatedは尾上菊之助・黒木瞳主演の映画「怪談」の主題歌です。
さらにアルバム『Secret』から映画「傷だらけの男たち」の主題歌、Secretが収録されてます!!
タイアップがたくさん付いてすごく楽しみです!
ベストを出した後ってことで、今までよりまた一段と成長したあゆの活躍が期待できそうです!!

やっと新曲が聴ける!!*と素直に喜んでしまった、このCD発売。
『glitter』は昨年に引き続き、ゼスプリ ゴールドキウイのCMタイアップソングになっているし、両A面のもう一曲『fated』はガラッと変わって、夏の切なさ漂うミディアムテンポのロックバラードということで、早く聴きたくて仕方がないです(>_<)また、7/7〜公開される映画『傷だらけの男たち』主題歌の『Secret』も収録予定だそうで、これはアルバム『Secret』を購入した人のためにアレンジver.が収録されていれば良いなぁと、ちょっとだけ希望を抱いています。DVDは表題の2曲のPVが収録されるみたいで、それは勿論のこと、ジャケットも今からとても楽しみです!『Secret』でクオリティの高さをみせつけてくれたayuの新作ということ+ハズレのないayuの夏ソングということで期待を込めて★5つです(*^-^*)
