このアルバムにはクリスタルボウルの音しか入っていませんので、
クリスタルボウルの音色を堪能したい人にはおススメです。
普通の鐘の音とは違い、湧き出して漂うような、不思議な響きが広がります。

絶対に眠くなる訳ではなく、眠くならない人も多いと思います。
わんわんと響く倍音が耳鳴りのように聴こえ、耳障りに聴こえる場合もありそうです。
ちなみに、もともと穏やかな曲や、癒し系音楽が好きなわたしは、
音色に聴き入ってしまい、全然眠くなりません。

ただ、聴いていると、音が頭のなかや体中に浸透して行き、
響きが広がってくような感覚があり、聴いたあとは何故かスッキリします。
体や脳が活性化、もしくはリラックス状態になっているのかもしれません。
雑念や余計な力が抜け、心身がリセットされたような印象を受けました。

寝る時に聴くのだけではなく、落ち着きたい時、集中力を高めたい時、
体や頭のなかをまっさらな状態にしたい時に合うアルバムだと思いました。

題名からの期待にたがわず、寝ながらかけっぱなしにしていると
自然に興奮がおさまり眠くなるようにできています。前作から新たに導入された備長炭入りボウルを鳴らす4曲目は特に音が柔らかく瞑想状態に入るのに効果的です。
夜中に頭を使う作業をしてから寝床に入っても、なかなか頭が沈静せずに結局寝付けないことがよくありましたが、倍音浴とこれがあればもう大丈夫そうです

雑誌にも「おススメ！」とあって購入しました。「最後まで聴けずに眠ってしまう」という評判でしたが、残念ながら自分には全く合いませんでした。絶対音感があったり、音に敏感な人には向かない気がします。私にとってこの作品は、マイクのハウリングの音や家電のモーター音に似通った部分が多く、耳鳴りがしそうな音で、睡眠時にはとてもつけていられません。例えば、大きい音量で流し、ヨガや瞑想をするのは良いかもしれません。また、重低音、頭に深く響く音、寺院の鐘を間近で聴く状態などがお好きな方にはおすすめだと思います。倍音浴も購入しましたが、私はそちらの方が良かったです。癒し系ですが好き嫌い分かれる音楽だと思いました。
