友人宅でブロックスをやって以来すっかり気に入りました。ルールは色々な形のピースを辺と辺がぶつからないように置いていくだけの至って簡単な陣地取りゲームですので、すぐに覚えられ、飽きません。大人でも夢中になります。オリジナルのブロックスと違う点は、ゲーム盤が六角形をしていて、角からスタートするのではなく中程の印から始めるところ、3人でもプレイできること、（2人の場合は2色ずつプレイします）、ブロックの形が六角形や、六角形に近い形が含まれているという点です。相手の色にきっちりはまった時は快感ですが、敵を防御するには必ずしもきれいに当てはめた方がいいわけではありません。ブロックは全て小さな三角が組み合わさって台形や六角形が作られているので、子どもが図形の概念を自然に身につけられるという点でも◎だと思います。四角のピースから成るオリジナルのブロックスよりも、抜け道を作りやすく、割としつこく置いていける所が気に入っています。オリジナルとは又別の楽しさがありますのでオリジナルのブロックス愛好家も是非試していただくといいと思います。ブロックスデュオも持っていますが、こちらはすぐに行き詰ってしまいます。トライゴンは、レギュラー版やデュオよりも抜け道を作りやすい為、最もピースを沢山おける可能性が高く、子どもにもお勧めです。真剣にやっても5歳の息子に負けることもあります。
