　ＦＦ初のＰＳでの作品ですが、まずは映像の綺麗さに驚きましたね。当時はムービーというものはあまり主流でなかったので衝撃的でした。バトルも今までと一味違い武器とマテリアの組み合わせなど、頭を悩ませつつ楽しめました。ただ隠し召喚獣が強すぎてラスボスが悲惨な結末になっていましたが(笑)。
　今作はキャラクターにドラマ並の設定が用意されていたのが印象的です。一人一人に生い立ちから性格までの細かい設定が、緻密なストーリーの良さを引き出していますね。ストーリー自体、申し分ない設定がありながらも、クリア後もまるでプレイヤーに余韻と、考える余地を与えるような繊細な出来です。エンディングの後はどうなったのだろう、ではクラウドに大きな影響を与えた人物は何物で、過去には何があったのだろう、プレイすればするほど謎は深まっていきます。
　余韻を感じるクライマックス、そして謎に包まれた人物。コンピレーション オブＦＦ７の作品群でその一端を徐々に垣間見ることが出来るのでしょうね。

PS3のゲームアーカイブスでダウンロード出来るようなのでやってみましたが、
やっぱおもしろいですねー・・。無理に感動させようとしてない台詞まわしが良い感じ。

ちょっとわかりにくいストーリーなのが残念ですが、二周目にプレイし直すとイベントの節々に複線があるので深いゲームだなーと感動しつつも物語も深く理解できました。

当時通常版しかやらなかったのですが、インター版でエリア間の移動が楽になりましたしエンカウント率も下がってとてもやりやすくなってます。

画質が荒くてやれるか！みたいな方は、可能であれば是非PSPでプレイしてもらいたいです。
画面が小さくなってるおかげでとても綺麗に見えるので、ゲームに集中出来ると思います！

私はアドベントチルドレンからファンになり、今回廉価版が発売されたのを機に購入したのですが…
予想以上に素晴らしい作品でした!!

さすがに10年も前に発売されたゲームなので、グラフィックや操作面での違和感は否めませんが、
重厚なストーリーとシステムが補って余りあるものがあります。
特にマテリアは自由度が高く、思いもよらぬ組み合わせで強力な効果が発動するなど、やり込み甲斐ありです。
ストーリーはどちらかというとファンタジー感はあまりなく、暗く感じますが、
キャラクターそれぞれの心の葛藤は自分自身にも訴えかけてくるものがありました。

名作として呼び声高いのも頷けました。
PS3などで是非移植してもらいたいです!!
