i-depというクラブシーン系のジャズバンドリーダー、ナカムラヒロシによる新ユニットで、ここで作られるカバーアレンジほどユーモラスな楽曲変身は他者には見られない。耳に優しいだけでなく知的好奇心をあおる音楽だ。i-depのラヴリーVo.Canaはそのカフェ的な空気を壊さない融和的な声質を旨とする。SMOOTH ACEのVo. に近く、上手さより身近さで曲の核を再構築するタイプ。

優しいアコギまでもが寄せる波のような「島唄」のボサノバから、ゆっくりクラブ的な要素が入る「接吻」そして何とテンポアップで魅せる「Everything」と前半の展開は好奇心を掴まれる。
「真夏の果実」はサビで鳴るバックのベース音による空間作りが主旋律の切なさをひきたてていた。「春の歌」はゆっくり押し寄せるピアノソロから始まり、Canaのミスト声が水面の霧のように満ちるバラードに。一方軽い声色で歌うPOPな「未来予想図2」は初めて聴いた。
「one more time,one more chance」はシンプルなピアノアレンジが喪失感を表すよう。次第に盛り上がるセンチメンタルはサックスソロ、ストリングスなど様々な楽器にリレーされる。静かな「世界にひとつだけの花」は言葉の実感が更に引き立つ。そして最後まで驚くのはトロピカルな「ガラス越しに消えた夏」。レゲエのリズムなのだ。間奏の宇宙観はまるで夜空のよう。こうした中盤以降の充実度が更に彼らの音へのめりこませる理由だった。

"たまたまご飯を食べてたお店のBGMで流れてて一目(耳？)惚れで即購入。
ベタな選曲なのに…と思ってたらとんでもなかった！！

ジャズ・ボサノバ風のアレンジと一瞬昔のUAを思い起こさせるCanaさんの声が素晴らしい。
個人的には『onemore time onemore chance』が最高。"

休日の昼間に窓を開け放ってお酒を飲みながらほわーっと聞くと本当に幸せだ♪

本当にとてもリラックスできるアルバムです。
Ｃanaさんの声ステキ…
テンポの良いeverythingとか、女性が歌う真夏の果実とか、
意外なところも意外に感じなくて気持ちがいいですね。

一言で言えば脱力系カバーバンドですね。UAの声と似てる気がする。聴いてるとホワーンとします。こんな子と一緒にカラオケに行ったら最高だなあって感じです。
