この作品は確信犯的にアポロの月着陸が不可能だと印象づける為に初期の米国のロケットの失敗映像を流す前に、当時の旧ソ連の宇宙開発優位を強調する為に失敗に終わった幻の月ロケットN-1の打ち上げの爆発する手前まで(調子のいい所だけ)流してます。
映像の使い方は、ともかくN-1ロケットの貴重な打ち上げ映像(数秒・2カットのモノクロ映像)を手に入れる為だけでも購入する価値がありました。

　１９６９年７月２１日、アポロ１１号のアームストロング船長が、
　That's one small step foe a man, one giant leap for mankind.
といいながら、月着陸船「イーグル」を下りるまでに少なくともアメリカのマーキュリー計画、ジェミニ計画に携わったアストロノーツの活動を同時期にモニターし、アポロ１号で火災事故で死亡したガス＝グリソムの「ジェミニよ、永遠に」などを読んできた人間からすれば、写真の蔭とか、些細なことで、人類の偉業を貶めるこの種の作品は許しがたい。
　アポロ１号の火災で死んだ、グルソム、ヤング、チャフィーは、「カプリコン１」のような国家的な計画の犠牲者だというのか？
　アポロ１３号の、生死の境をさまよったアストロノーツの出来事は、「やらせ」だというのか？

　世の中には、本当に品性の下品な人がいて、ヒーローを貶めることが「正義」と感じる人がいることが、本当に虚しい。

　こういうものを否定し、商品から外せとまで言うのは、彼らのような品性下劣な行為だから、黙認するが、こういう作品を金儲けのために出す人間の品性は本当に悲しいことである。

幼稚園の頃、白黒TVに釘付けになっている両親を見て、計り知れない偉業が達成されたのだと信じて疑わなかった。しかし、高校の授業で巨大な太陽フレアとバンアレン帯を知り、漠然と月面着陸に対して疑念を持っていたが、その答えがここにある。初代ファミコンよりも解析能力の低い電子計算機で、どの様に歳差運動を修正計算しながら38万キロを往復しなのか・・・戦後冷静の情報操作の縮図が表現されている。宇宙開発全てが嘘では無いと思うが、北朝鮮の人工衛星が地球を周回していると信じていない
方には、冷静に観れるはずです。
