次のアルバム｢and world｣の｢静｣的側面を象徴するという
｢季節の灯｣に対し、｢動｣的側面を象徴するのがこの曲。

終始溢れる疾走感、絶叫調のボーカル。
なるほど、ACIDMAN節。

…が、私にはもうひとつピンとこなかったというのが正直
なところ。
粗過ぎる感じというか。
｢動的｣なイメージにこだわり過ぎた結果、曲全体を通して
のクオリティが若干疎かになっているような…

メロディもちょっと弱い気がします。
本来ACIDMANの曲は、｢静｣｢動｣問わずしっかりしたメロディ
があって、それが大きな魅力だと思っているので。

｢季節の灯｣は良いと思ったのですが、その前の｢ある証明｣
やこの曲は、私にとっては期待に充分応えてくれたとは言い
難い内容でした。
次のアルバムにもうひとつ期待しきれない…

ちなみに、c/wは｢LOOP｣のラスト曲のアコースティック調新
アレンジ。
イイと思いますが、方向性は｢季節の灯｣のc/wとほぼ同じ。
"second line"ってこういうことだったのか…
私はこちらのコンセプトももうひとつ掴みきれませんでした。

『動』をイメージした三ヶ月連続リリースの２番目のシングル。
『world symphony』はACIDMANのイメージを崩さないいい曲になってると思います。
『turn around(second line)』はアルバムの『LOOP』に入ってる曲のアレンジですが、まったく違う曲のように感じます。
ACIDMANファンならもちろんそうじゃない人にもお勧めです。

ACIDMANのニューシングル「world symphony」が切られました。
アルバムに先行しての2シングルの内の1枚で、
久々に俺の心にバスッと来る1曲でした。

なんと言っても、その疾走感。
パンク系バンドに負けないそのリズムの中に、
他のバンドにはないメロディアスな一面と、
Vo.大木の載せる字面も響きも綺麗な歌詞が一体化して、
見事に完成された1曲となっています。
