　今回も文句なし、☆５個です。
前作のミニアルバム「crossover」でポップスと
クラシックの融合をがんばりたいと言っていた
島谷さんは、このアルバムもきちんと仕上げてくれました。
　
　「沙羅双樹」や「真昼の月」などのしみじみと心
を打つ曲から、今までに聞いたことがない新しい曲
調の「Mermaid」、パワーあふれる「Falco」や「Ga
rnet Moon」などキラリと光る名曲揃い。批判する理
由なんかどこにもありません。

　ファンでなくとも是非チェックするべき一枚です。
みなさんも一度聴いてみてはいかがでしょうか。

彼女の歌声を聞くといつも思うのだけれど、今の若い女性ボーカルの中で、本当に歌が上手く、声が綺麗で、パンチも効いていて、というふうに、一番バランスがとれている歌手は、島谷ひとみなのではないかと思う。彼女の歌は、歌詞や音楽は、多少万人受けしにくい面もあるかもしれないけれど、独特の島谷ワールドに引きずり込んでしまうその歌唱力は、やはり只者ではない。「4.沙羅双樹」なんて、他に誰が歌えるだろう。次の新たな「島谷ワールド」が待ち遠しい。

特にSky Highと太陽神の2曲が気に入りました。
ベルリン・フィルの演奏が曲に対して荘厳なイメージを付加してくれています。是非、お聞き下さい。
ボーナス・トラックもお勧めです。
