ファーストシングルHow Many More Timesはカップリングを入れて4曲収録されています。まず
一曲目↓
Ricky Punks
ハードなロックンロールです。この曲をシングルの1発目に持ってきたことで、かなりインパクトが出たと思います。アルバムに入れるのはなんかもったいない気がしますし、中盤や終盤に持ってきては、曲が映らない。シングルの1発目にふさわしい曲です!

二曲目↓
How Many More Times
ファーストシングルですね。まず、この曲を聴くと、何度も繰り返されるアルペジオのリフが、とても印象的です。この曲はメロディーも、もちろんいいのですが、とても親しみやすいリフやアレンジになっていると思います!バンド・アンサンブルをすごく大切にした曲です!

I Go Alone Again
ご存知の方もいらっしゃると思いますが、ファースト・ソロ・アルバム→The Cost Of Freedomの一曲目に収録されていた「I Go Alone」のバンド・バージョンでの録り直しです。ライブを見に来てる方には、お馴染みのアレンジだと思います。このアレンジはすごく好評で、そんなファンへのプレゼン曲として、シングルに収録されました。「アルバムはこうなのに、シングルだとこうなるのか」そういうのを楽しめる曲です。ストレートに聞こえますが、演奏にストーリー性があって、かっこいい曲に仕上がっています!
四曲目↓
I'm Not In Love
10CCのカバー曲です。この曲はメロディーが最高です。その一言です!(笑)この曲はカバー曲なのに完全にKenさんの曲に仕上がっています!あとギターのポジションが右と左のチャンネルで違うとか、そういうとこで広がりがある曲になっていると思います!最後にソロのところを言わせてもらうと、オクターブ奏法で奏でていて、親しみやすく、ギターリストKen Yokoyamaを感じました。個人的にはこの曲が一番好きです!すいません!!後もう一つ!リフはミュートやオープンの使い分け!さすがKenさんだと思います。
このシングルはHi-STANDARDのKen Yokoyamaでなく、違ったKen Yokoyamaさんを見れるはずです!

2ndの先行シングル。

2曲目の"How Many More Times"は名曲。2ndに入っています。横山健の本領が発揮されています。
1曲目はアルバム未収録曲。3曲目は1stのリアレンジ曲。4曲目は10ccの名曲のカバー。
買って大正解。聴いてください。

来月のアルバムが、早く聴きたくて、仕方がない。

と思わせるシングルの内容でした。

Ken Yokoyamaではなくて、

Ken Bandとしての曲のせいなのか、

今まで以上に、物凄い、かっこよかったどす。

スピーディー、メロディアス、エネルギッシュ。

3拍子揃っとって、若さをイメージした、ハイスタの頃。

これらに加えて、歌声も、何か、
1st(The Cost Of Freedom)の頃と比べて、
格段に進化しとります。
渋い大人の魅力も加わったという感じでした。

この曲の4曲。アルバム15曲だとすると、

19曲のアルバムを出して欲しい気がしないでもないですが。

期待を膨らませてくれる意味でも、星5つにいたしました。
