賛否両論のドスですが個人的には楽しいかったです。確かに難易度は高いですがモンスターの行動パターンさえ見切れれば倒せないことは無いです。ただやはり雑魚無限沸きはかなりやりすぎ。正直言ってこれさえ無ければぐっとバランスが良くなります。惜しいと言った所ですが次回作に期待を込めて星4ツ。

MH2からはじめた者として、感じたことを書いてみます。
（プレイしたのはオフラインのみです。）
○良いと思った点
グラフィックがとても綺麗。ボスが手強く制限時間内に勝てるか勝てないかといった緊張感。アイテムや装備品を自分で集めた素材で作っていくやり込み要素。
○悪いと思った点
ボスを倒すために必要なアイテム（回復剤など）が売っていないので、素材を集める手間が結構面倒。武器、防具を強化する為にも結構レアなアイテムが必要なので集めるのが大変。とにかくボスが強い上に雑魚敵が無限沸きするのでボスに集中できない。ボスが瀕死になると逃げてしまい追いかけるのが面倒。（エリア移動のたびにロードが入ります）
○総合
良い面と悪い面が表裏一体な所が多いのでプレイに時間がかかっても問題が無く、短気でない方にはお勧めの一本です。短気な方はストレスが溜まる一方だと思います。「あれだけ追い詰めといて時間切れかよ！」「今のハメどうやって抜けろって言うんだよ！」「余分なモーション入れるから死ぬんだよ！」←参考までにプレイ中の私の発言です。

オンラインはやったことがないのでオフラインの感想です。
まず序盤から敵が強すぎです。
中盤以降に難易度が高くなるなら我慢できるけど
最初からボスがこっちのライフに合わない大量のダメージを与えてくる上ザコ敵が乱入してきてハメられる形になりまくりです。
ザコ敵も強い上に集団リンチするわアイテム盗むわ地面に潜るわと本当に腹が立ちます。

システム自体は面白いのでやりこめる人なら良いのかもしれないけど
ゲームをあまりやらない自分にとっては難易度が高すぎて不快感だけが残りました。
