ガキの心を貫き続けるガガガSPからニューシングルがリリース。今作はA面B面共にタイアップとなっており、ひたすらハイテンションでぶっ通すガガガSPの仕事っぷりを堪能できる一枚となっている。

最近のガガガSPには「仕事」の側面と「純愛」の側面が交錯しており、今作は「仕事」の色合いが非常に濃い。なぜならば、前シングル『はじめて君としゃべった』や今作の『つなひき帝国』のようなタイアップ曲でガガガSPに求められているのは突き抜けるハイテンションだけの「仕事」の側面であり、土着的で女々しい「純愛」的側面一切必要とされていないからである。

当のガガガSPがやりたいのは「純愛」の側面であることはこの『つなひき帝国』を聞いてもらえば非常に良く分かる。フィルターに通さずに言わせて貰えばこの曲は「テキトー」である。タイアップ曲と言えばサビだけが重要視されるものだが、最近のシングル『はじめて君としゃべった』と今作『つなひき帝国』ではその点が無残に露呈している。彼らは本当に「仕事」が嫌いなのだなあと実感させられてしまう。

しかしガガガSPに「純愛」の歌を書かせると、クオリティは豹変する。ダサくて垢抜けない男の切ない心情を切々と語りだす。「純愛」に対するスタンスは全く衰えることなく、アルバム『無責任一家総動員』の『私鉄沿線』、『雨の日曜日』では彼らの中にある全ての心情が爆発されていることを痛切に感じることができる。彼らのやりたいことはフォークをパンクというフィルターに通すことであり、パンクをタイアップというフィルターに通すことでは無いのではないか？

前田さんの療養が開け、祭りの準備、卒業の頃のような元気（？）が戻ってきたように思えます。頑張って下さい！

タイアップソングが全盛となったのはトレンディドラマあたりからでしょうか？ドラマやCMならそれほど気になりませんが、子供向けのアニメやヒーローもののタイアップソングは本当にやめてほしい。

ケロロ軍曹は”大きいお友達”も結構見ていると読んでこんな曲をOPにしたのでしょうが、子供の身になってみてください。和製パンク（？）とケロロとは全く合ってません。

子供たちが後になって”ケロロ軍曹面白かったなー”という思い出とともにいつまでも歌えるような曲を選んでほしかったと思います。

もともとのガガガSPのファン、それより何よりガガガSP本人たちははどう思ってるんでしょうか？1枚でも多く売れれば何をしてもいいと思ってるんでしょうか。
