4.0 out of 5 stars 悩むまでもなく　見よう　！, 2006/6/28
鈴木監督の作品を見出したのは、本当につい最近のことです。
この映画は、タイトルからしてマニアックぽいわ、
昔の映画評論雑誌でも賛否さまざまだわで、
見るか見ざるか、どうしよっかな〜、などと思っておりました。

この映画が公開されて長くたちますが、
当時の若者はおそらく、川地の台詞に同調したであろうし、

現代の自分は、芦田にうなづけるのでありました。

と、まじめに言えばそういう感想ですが、
すっげえおもろい。嫌な気持ち半分ありつつ、やっぱおもろい。

鈴木作品の「ちょっと嫌な感じの鑑賞後感」を抜群に持たせながら、
それでも「ああおもろかった」と。

今の時代に見る人、当時見た人、30年後に見る人、
感想はばらばらだろうし、好みの問題もあると思うけれど、

美しくはかないものが好きで、
なおかつ時代を正面から捉えられる人、なら、愛せる作品だと、
心から思います。

レンタルＤＶＤにて鑑賞。1960年公開とのこと。この年だけで、5本も監督作品が公開されている鈴木清順作品。世に初期の傑作と呼び声高いようなので、今回のＤＶＤ発売となったのであろう。音も画面も随分クリアだ。同じ年製作の清順作品を名画座にて見た記憶があるが、随分、見違えた。
公開当時、和田浩治・清水まゆみの映画と併映されているが、こっちが添え物のほう、だったのであろう。いわゆるＢピクチャーの香りぷんぷん。群像青春劇といった舞台設定。さすがに処理しきれていない部分（というかそもそも辻褄を合わせる積りがないっていうのが本当のところのような）も。だけどとにかく、川地民夫の走りっぷりは凄い。カメラもぶんぶんに回っている。この出鱈目さを楽しめるか否かがこの映画を見るうえでのポイントか。穂積某がとってつけたように最後にのたまう「すべてが狂ってる」っていうのもいかす。モデル出身との禰津良子がスタイルもよく、エロくて可愛い（吉永小百合がなんの必然性もなく、川地民夫と絡んでいるが、そんなの問題にならん）。かなり詰まらないものを続けて見てへこんでいたのだが。これは凄い。最高だった。

退屈でしたが
中盤以降、ぐんと面白くなりますね。
主役のいらいら、不満が消えては高まり
感情のままに行動し
彼らは予期せぬ事態に堕ちてしまいます。
結末がこの映画の価値を高めてるんでしょう。

なんの予備知識もなく観ながら
彼らは大学生なのかなと思っていたら
高校生だったのですね。

短い映画ですが
後半数十分は一見の価値あり。
