TV放映時は一部見逃してしまったのですが、ふと思い出して全話をイッキに見ました。

風来坊な主人公（ヒーロー？）と、生真面目なヒロインが織りなす、恋と冒険の王道ストーリーで、
やたら難解な謎かけや、深すぎる心理描写などは無く、とにかくストレス無く心地良く楽しめます。
キャラクターも実写では無理筋でも、アニメならＯＫのラインナップで、バラエティーに富んでいます。

主人公：グラムは、その場の成り行きで海賊の一味となり、ロボット（ラウンドバックラー）に乗って戦う
というベタなスタートから、まさしく笑いあり、人情あり、戦い（ライバル）あり、謎もある展開。

幼馴染みで離れ離れになっていたヒロイン：ベスとは、敵対しつつも、徐々にお互いの気持ちを確かめ合い、
最後は和解して２人で宝探しの旅に出て行くという、ちょっとした「ツンデレ」的な部分も
嫌味が無く非常にさわやかで、「娯楽作品とは、かくあるべし」とでもいった感じの流れです。

やたらに気難しかったり、狙い過ぎていたりする話に食傷気味の人にはお勧めの作品で、
エンディング曲「アオイタビビト」も、この物語を支える名曲だと思います。

夜明けの船はとうとう地球軍にとっつかまります。グラムだけは何とか逃れたのですが、一人で何とかできるはずもなく、うじうじしだします。そこへ現れたのが我等がエノラ嬢。恋敵のべスを説得して利用。
大好きなおにいちゃんを助けるために大奮闘！というわけでもないか。でも、エノラが果たした役割はとても大きいです。この巻でエノラのことを見直す人も多いのではないでしょうか。
元気になったグラムはあろうことかキュベルネスに助けをたのみます。キュベルネスもキュベルネスで、あっさりグラムを助けます。おい、いいのかそれで！この二人にはなんか友情のようなものがいつの間にか出来ていたんでしょうかねー。あとは、仲間を助けるため地球軍にガチンコ対決を挑みます。あとは見てください。
私としては、とりあえずべスとグラムがくっつけばいいので。
