アニメの主題歌が多くてとてもいいと思います。
いちばん有名なスレイヤーズの「Give a reason」から始まり、
ロストユニバース・セイバーマリオネット・万能文化猫娘などありますね。
特典の映像も「VINTAGE A」とは違い、歌で盛りだくさんです！
めぐ姉を知ってる方もこれから知る方も皆さんが楽しめる一品だと思います。
自分は即買いでした（笑）

「スレイヤーズ」のリナ・インバース、それから「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」の綾波レイ…とその演じたキャラクターを挙げればキリが無い位に人気を持ち、一児の母となった今もラジオ番組などで活躍中の林原めぐみのベストアルバムがこの「ＶＩＮＴＡＧＥ　Ｓ」だ。
この後、「ＶＩＮＴＡＧＥ　Ａ」という同じようなパッケージを持つベスト版も出たが、どちらもおススメだ。
まず、こちらはというと、（ＤＶＤでは無く）ビデオも付いていて、めったに見られない林原の珍しい映像が満載である。
それから、肝心のＣＤの方は、全曲聴いても飽きるという事は無い。こんなアルバムはめったに無いだろう。
…といった理由から、クルマのＣＤチェンジャー等で長時間聴くには最適と言えよう。

林原めぐみのシングルベストアルバム。
彼女の曲は全般的に歌詞がとてもいい。
特に１９９０年代という時間軸にマッピングをしたときに，
他の一斉を風靡したアーティストたちと比べたときに，優位に差を感じる。

特にこのアルバムのなかに収録されている曲が作られた１９９０年代は，
曲だけに焦点を当てているような，キャッチーだけど空虚な曲がはやっていった中で，
こういう形で素直で現実的な歌詞でしっかり歌い上げていることに高い価値を感じるし，
林原めぐみは歌手でありながら，声を使って演じきるというのはこういうことなのかと，
思い知らされるインパクトのあるアルバム。

凹んだときに背中を押してくれるFine Colorday.
恋愛の苦しさを歌ったGoing History.
いろんな感情にポジティブに働く汎用性の高いアルバム。
