5.0 out of 5 stars 有言実行ってやつですか, 2006/7/8
いきなり「ガタガタ言うな、黙って観やがれ」...
で、そう言い放つだけのものを見せてくれます。
いい意味で全てに突き抜けた「やりすぎ感」が満載。

まず絵（動きも背景も全て）が本当にすごい。
絵を描く人には、絵柄が好みじゃなくても、絶対見ておけと勧めたい表現力。
ここまで描ける人達がいるものなのか....。

音楽もいい！この手の音楽に縁のない私でもサントラ買ったくらい、いい。
曲数もバリエーションも非常に多く、凄くハマっています。

ムゲン、ジン、フウ、3人とも生き生きしてて、一見定型キャラのようでも奥が深い。
ジンは、残酷さと優しさ（と妙に笑えるヘタレな所）が同居した、不思議な魅力が。
ムゲンは...とにかく圧倒的な存在感。声優の中井和哉さんの持ち味が存分に発揮されてます。
（琉球生まれと言っていますが、過去話からは奄美諸島出身のイメージのようですね）

1〜2話完結式なので、話のテンポもキレもよく、
ギャグ、しっとりした話、ハードな剣術ものなど、色々な話が楽しめ、飽きさせません。

時代考証なんて無視に見えますが、
意外と根っこの所で違和感がないというか、よく研究した上でやっているという感じ。
空きっ腹で怪しげなバイトしながらの旅、ストリートファッション、大食い大会等々
江戸風俗の研究本を読んでいて実際にありますし。
「似た事ホントにあったかも」と...まあ、さすがに「そりゃないよ」って回もありましたが...

私も好きな時代物の一つとして、軽く楽しんでましたが...14話「暗夜行路 弐」が凄まじかった。
さんざん軽いノリで進めてきておいて、こんなのありですか....
「おぼくり〜ええうみ」の歌が頭から離れず、憑かれたみたいになってしまった...

アラもムラもない訳じゃないし、クセもあるけど、
どうしようもないギャグから心の闇まで描いた、欲張りすぎの濃い作品です。ぜひ一見を。

とにかく、最初に流れるのと同様に、『黙って見やがれ』です。
江戸時代の侍たちの話ですが、ピアスしてるわ、バイトと言うわで
時代背景なんて関係なし。唯一重視してる部分と言えば遊郭(笑)。
チャンバラシーンも普通じゃない。
特にムゲンの動きは侍じゃない。
そんな感じで初めは「ナンジャコレ」と言ってしまう人も居るのでは。
そんなところがこのアニメの素敵なところだと思います。

ただ、皆さん書かれてますが、値段が高い。
2話収録でこの値段は、仕方が無いと諦めるしかないのか…。
そんな理由で星は4つです。

渡辺信一郎と言えばカウボーイビバップ。という人は多いと思う。
けど、ビバップを求めてこの作品を見ると少し肩透かしかも。
この1巻では1・2話しか収録してないので導入部ですが、中盤(10話)あたりまでほとんど大きな展開がない感じです。

でも僕がこのDVDを欲しいと思ったのは、やはり日本アニメとしてのクオリティです。

毎回のように殺陣が展開され、キャラクターがかっこよく動く動く。
色彩においても浮世絵を彷彿させる美しさが描かれてます。
音楽もナベシンが好きそうな感じでHipHop・R&B好きにもいい感じです。

TVというよりOVA的な「丁寧に作られた」感じで最近のアニメでは珍しいと思いました。

でも価格がやっぱり・・・ね。
