伊東ゆかりは本当に情感のある歌を歌える大人の歌手だと思っています。
もう40年ほど前になりますが、サン・レモ音楽祭に日本代表としてカンツォーネを歌って出場していた頃は大好きでした。あのような雰囲気を出せる歌手は当時稀有な存在でしたので。

この2枚組のＣＤは、そんな伊東ゆかりの1978年から2001年にかけて発売されたシングル21枚と、その頃に発売された15枚のアルバムから選曲されています。作詞・作曲も有名な人が多いですが、編曲も前田憲男、服部克久、大村憲司、川口真などによるステキなアレンジで彩られています。

キャリアの長い伊東ゆかりにとってこのアルバム収録の時代は必ずしもヒット曲に恵まれたわけではありませんが、他のアーティストではなかなか聴くことのできない大人の歌を紡いでいました。Ａ.Ｏ.Ｒ.のカバーも収録されており、日本語の語感も美しく感じられます。

「またひとりぼっち」で聴けるようなセンチメンタルでありながらウエットではない歌唱が彼女の持ち味だと思います。「マイハピネス」「テネシー・ワルツ」「セプテンバー・ソング」などの曲は、オールディーズ・ファンにとって懐かしい思い出がよぎることでしょう。

ジリオラ・チンクエッティのサン・レモ音楽祭の優勝曲となった「夢見る想い」こそ、伊東ゆかりの歌唱で聴きたかった曲です。10代の頃にも吹き込んでいますが、人生の年輪を重ねてからの歌も情感があっていいですね。堪能しました。

涼しげな歌声がとても心地良いです。じっくり聞きたい曲がたくさん詰まっています。この人は歌うために生まれてきたんだなぁ、、とつくづく思ってしまいます。
