この音楽を聴くともなく流しているだけで、リラックスして自然と頭の中から余計なものが出ていってくれます。
特に意識して音楽に集中する必要はないと思います。
何か作業をする時や、寝る前や、ヨガや瞑想をする時なんかにリピートで再生しておくと、穏やかな落ち着いた気持ちになれます。
勝新太郎さんも宮下富実夫さんのファンだったそうです。

スポーツジムのアロマストレッチのときに流れていて、なんとも心地よく、
宮下富実夫のこの「瞑想」を知ったのだが、何度聞いても心に沁みるいい
音楽だ。
　疲れたときや、ぐっすり眠りたいときにかけると心身ともにリラックスできる。

個人的に通っている鍼灸やマッサージの治療院などでよく流れていて、「エレクトリックなのに柔らかくて、安心して身を委ねられるこのＣＤは、どなたのモノなのだろう？」と、とても探していた一枚になります。宮下富実夫さんの作品中、最も定番的な作品であることをこちらのページを通して知り、様々な治療院で同じ音を耳にしていたのも納得してしまう、ミュージックセラピーの代表作的な一枚であると率直に感じました。
日常生活の中で音楽と言えば、ビートを含んだ刺激的な作品も多くあり、本当に疲れている時などは、無音状態にして音楽を切り離したくなる時も個人的にはあります。
しかし、こちらのＣＤにはそういったリズム部分もなく、漂う様な音空間とどこか温かみのあるシンセ音、清流や小鳥のさえずりの音色が、全身の緊張をほぐしてくれるので、音楽を使って無心状態でリラックスをすることが出来ます。
自宅でお香を焚いたりお茶を飲んだりする時、治療院にいる時さながらの雰囲気を味わえるので、とても嬉しくまたちょっぴり贅沢な気分にもなれます。
