Every Little Thingにとって６枚目のオリジナル・アルバム。今回のアルバムのジャケットは今までに無い感じで、いいですネ！！ヒットシングル「ファンダメンタル・ラブ」「また あした」２月２５日発売の先行シングル「ソラアイ」が収録されてます。今回のアルバムは「Every Best Singles２」同様にＤＶＤ付きです。そのＤＶＤには「また あした」「ソラアイ」のＰＶと２００３年１２月に行われたクリスマスライブが収録されるみたいです。このクリスマスライブをテレビで見ましたがアコーステックで歌っていて"モッチー"の甘い声が心癒されます。テレビで見た時は「愛のカケラ」「出逢った頃のように」を歌ってました。

ELTの癒し効果は抜群ですね。聴いていて心地よくなります。
持田さんと言えば、JAMPの時から急に甘ったるい歌い方になってましたが…。今回のアルバム、全体的に甘い声でしたが1番最後の曲は渡来通りの発生方法に聴こえます…勘違いでしょうか。とにかく聴いてみてくださいね。お仕事や勉強の合間にでも癒されてください。

「ファンダメンタル・ラブ」「また あした／一日の始まりに...／しあわせの風景」「ソラアイ」を収録した６枚目☆タイトルの『commonplace』とは“ありふれた事（物）”という意味。シングル曲の歌詞からして今回はこの“ありふれた事（物）”をテーマにした曲達でまとめられている模様。これはELTにとって、もしかしたら初の試みかも！持田の描く歌詞と歌で表現される“ありふれた事（物）”がどんな形でこのアルバムに示されているのか今からとても楽しみである☆
