奥井雅美さんのシングル集の第二弾です。
Smode#1に収録されているシングルはどちらかというと「アニメ・アニメ」といった感じの曲が大半でしたが、このアルバムに収録されている辺りから「ロック色」が非常に強く出てきている感じがします。
奥井さんの過渡期な感じなのかもしれませんね。

曲としては秀曲が揃っています。「邪魔はさせない」の最後のシャウト気味の所や「naked mind」のサビなんかはまさに「J-Rock」な感じですし、「朱-AKA-」なんかは更に突き抜けた感じがあります。奥井さんの「Rock」な所が好きな方にはこの集め方は有り難いのではないかなと思います。
かといってポップな所もきっちり抑えられていますし。「恋しましょ、ねばりましょ」のような曲もまた奥井さんならでは、です。
非常に過不足なく彼女の魅力が納められているので、初めて聞く人には本当にお勧めな一枚です。

ただ、奥井さんのファンで既にCDも何枚も持っている立場からすると…不満です（笑)Smode#1のディスク2がセルフカバー集となっていて楽しめただけに、今回一曲しかボーナスがないというのはちょっと悲しいです。

そこだけ鑑みて一点減点。ただし内容自体は本当に不満がない事だけは重ねて強調させていただきます。

シングル集2枚目です。
今回は本人が作詞作曲をやり始めた頃で
彼女らしさが出てきて、ファンでも人気のあるものが出てきた
そんなシングルを集めたものですので、楽曲の良さはピカイチ！
本当に良い曲ばかりですので、これは絶対聴いて欲しいです。
ただニューアレンジ1曲、セルフカバー1曲のオマケは少ないかなと…

もう少し新しいのがあれば星５なんですけどね。
それでもやはり是非是非聴くべきアルバムです。

「奥井雅美」といわれるとこの時期を思い浮かべる程この頃の曲はよく聴いていたし、好きな曲も多い。
正直、S-MODE#1の時期より楽曲の質は上だと思う。
(自作曲が増えたというのもあるかもしれんが。)
