　７０年ＧＳはほぼ全滅に近い状況であった。モップス自身もそれを身を持って感じていたのだろう。レコード会社の移籍を期にＧＳから本格的なロックンロールバンド変貌を遂げるのだった。また反ＧＳということから歌詞は全部英語にしたんだろう。
　このアルバムは素晴らし出来ばえだ。星勝を中心としたアレンジ「朝日の当たる家」の間奏に尺八入れるあたりはにくいの一言。「ジェニジェニ７０」のヒロミツのノリの良いヴォーガル。「エリナーリクビー」のクラシカルなアレンジ。日本人の作品とは思えないオリジナルのセンスのよさ。それらどれをとっても、あたらしい日本のロックの始まりといえるだろう。
