“Honda”の企業CMソングとして、また映画『ゼブラーマン』の主題歌に起用された名曲がついにシングル化。同曲の初出は95年発表のファースト・アルバム『ザ・ハイロウズ』。9年経った今でも新鮮に聴こえる曲のクオリティの高さには脱帽。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

なんで今頃と、そう思ったあなた。たしかにこの曲、ハイロウズのデビュー・アルバム『THE HIGH-LOWS』(95年)に収められていたかなり古い曲なのだが、実は今が旬でもあるという、実に幸福な曲なのである。ハイロウズのライヴでの定番大合唱曲であることに加え、最近ではホンダのCMソングにも採用され、もうひとつおまけに映画『ゼブラーマン』の主題歌にも決定ということで、なんと約9年の時を経て初のシングル・カット。シャラララ、というコーラスがなんとも心地よい、ヒロトのお茶目でポップな一面がよく出た明るい名曲だ。 (宮本英夫) --- 2004年03月号

近頃ＨＯＮＤＡのＣＭにも使われたりしてかなり話題になってますよね。歌詞、リズムともにとてもステキです。ハイロウズは反社会的(？）な歌詞なんかも結構出してますが、この曲はある意味ハイロウズのオモテっていうか、ポジティブで明るい部分が出ていて、聞いているとあかるくなれますよ。

素晴らしい才能を感じずにはいられません。

本当にすばらしい曲です。

明るくて元気な歌詞、ヒロトの温かい声。
こんなに人を元気に前向きにさせてくれる曲はありません！！

私は悲しいとき、この曲に何度も元気をもらったし、嬉しいときには、もっと嬉しい気分にさせてくれました。聞いていると、きれいな田舎の景色が浮かんでくるような、どこかなつかしい気持になります。

どんな詩人の言葉よりも、この歌の歌詞はまっすぐ心に響きます。
聞けば聞くほど大好きになります♪
