ＯＬを３年間（交通安全協会）勤めたあと、1987年10月５日「恋人と呼ばせて」でデビュー。90年６月27日の6枚目のシングル「会いたい」のヒットで、オリコン１００位内に87週間チャートインしたのは記憶に新しい。本ベストは全曲シングル。以外と知られていないが90/03/07リリースのカム・イントゥ・マイ・ライフ、90/07/25リリースのライヴ・オン・ザ・ターフ、91/06/28リリースのメロディーもシングルＡ面だが、92/11/25リリースの「忘れられない」は、数少ないオリジナルアルバム未収曲ヴァージョンだ。同日発売となったベスト『To YOU TWO!』にはアルバムヴァージョンが納められた。

沢田知可子は10枚以上のベストが発売されたが、現在入手できるものは最近のもの以外、すべて廃盤ということもあり、せめて、このアルバムだけは手元に残しておきたい作品。これは余談だが、21世紀に残したい名曲」として第１位に輝いたのは、沢田知可子の「会いたい」だ。この曲は、昨年、歌姫の小柳ゆきがカヴァーし、シングルにもなった。ＯＬの癒し系ナンバーということだろう。

15曲目に収録されているはずの「Marie」が届いたCDには収録されていません。
ただ他の収録曲も名曲ぞろいなのがせめてもの救いです。
