過去何度と無く『石川セリのベスト』と称して出されてきたＣＤには、フィリップスレコードでリリースされた１２枚のシングルＡ面曲が網羅されているものがありませんでした。しかし、この『石川セリ　ゴールデン☆ベスト』でやっとシングルＡ面曲を全て網羅したことにより、オリジナル・アルバム未収録の「ガラスの女」とそのシングルＢ面「うしろ姿」が初ＣＤ化されました。また、キャニオンレコードから出されたデビュー曲「八月の濡れた砂」やユーミン作詞・作曲の「朝焼けが消える前に」や井上陽水作曲、レコーディング参加の「気まぐれ」収録とかなりファンには納得のいく内容になっています。そして、それらの曲を１９８５年のフィリップスレコードでのラスト・シングル「いろ、なつ、ゆめ ~彩 夏 夢」から、ほぼ発表順に遡った曲順と拘り（？）を感じさせてくれたり、ＣＤブックレットの表IVで全てのシングルのジャケ写を配置したり、解説がついていたりと価格的にも満足の一枚です。

ＮＨＫＴＶ，をみて今時ないアンニュイと毒気ととんがった感性、魔女ぶり？で買う気になりました。
井上陽水との取り合わせは意外と言えば意外、武満徹が惚れ込んだのは納得。

レコード時代にセリのベストを買って聞いていました。最近になってもう一度聞いてみたいと思い、昔のベストを探していたのですが、同じ物が無かったので、このＣＤを買ってみました。納得できるベストでした。
