圧力鍋と保温調理鍋のどちらにするか悩み、圧力鍋は材料と調味料を一緒に入れるので調味料の量が難しいと友人に聞き、こちらの保温調理鍋を購入しました。ステンレス製の内鍋に材料を入れ沸騰した後、外鍋に入れて置いておくだけ。(もちろん外出もＯＫ)やわらかくなった後に味付けが可能です。シチュー・カレー・おでん・豚汁などのあったかメニューには欠かせない鍋で、安いお肉やスジ肉など、とても柔らかく美味しくなりました。手間のかかる角煮も簡単に出来て、ガス料金の節約も可能です。保温が出来るので帰りの遅い主人が食べる時の温め直しの必要ありません。

中華粥を作ろうと思って購入しました。
本来、結構時間がかかるのですが前日の晩に加熱して後は保温調理して朝に出来上がる（または朝加熱して保温、晩に食べる）ので非常に重宝しています。
またカレーやシチューを作ったとき、鍋ごと保温ジャーに入れてテーブルの上に置いておけば、再加熱しなくてもお代わりが暖かくいただけます。この保温性能は調理後もありがたいです。

圧力鍋は以前から持っていましたが、こちらのほうが手間がかからず、何よりおいしく仕上がると聞いて購入しました(そのとおりでした）。このほかに2,8Lのものも持っており、大きいのはポトフやおでんなど、小さいのは煮物や普段の味噌汁にも使っています。春にはおでんを前日から仕込み一日に2,3回火を入れて、お花見にもって行きました。肌寒い日でしたが、おでんはずっと温かく、味も良くしみこんでいるととても好評でした。うちは小さい子がいるので、ガスを長く使わなくてすみ、危なくないのも助かっています。
