   アニメ系サントラなどの曲提供やプロデュースで知られるサウンド・クリエイター、梶浦由記のファースト・ソロ・アルバム。ストリングスやヴァイオリン、マンドリンなどのアコースティック楽器を多用し、プログラミングとうまく融合させて、ナチュラルでスケール感のある音世界を作り上げている。

NOIRや.hack//SIGNの音楽担当、See-Sawとして知られている梶浦由記さんのソロアルバム。
「感情」が感じられるのが彼女の音楽の魅力ではないかと思います。
胸がぎゅーっとしめつけられるような切なさが好きな方にきいていただきたいです。

オススメは「canta per me」。
NOIRのサントラに入っているもののバージョン違いです。
NOIRサントラ収録版を静かな悲しみが感じられますが､
こちらは曲調がまったくかわっていて、悲しく、しかし情熱的な曲になっています。
ふたつの「別れの歌」を聴き比べてみてはいかがでしょうか。

ただ、アニメのサントラを買ったほうがより彼女の魅力を味わえるかと。
★が４つなのはそこらへんの気持ちからです。
「サントラなんて全部買うのはむずかしい！
　それより梶浦の名曲を早くいっきに聞きたい！」
という方には、このアルバムが１番いいのかもしれません。

~Noirから３曲、アクエリアンエイジから２曲、.hackからは３曲、そしてオリジナル、という構成です。基本的には、昔の曲の方が大胆なアレンジがされており、特に白眉は「Salva Nos」。もともとequiemを想起させるラテン語の歌詞でしたが、今回、東京混声合唱団のバックを得て、その感がさらに強まりました。一方、.hackからの「Key of the Twilight」「Fake~~ Wings」などはさりげないアレンジですが、曲はかなり締まった感じ。とりあえず梶浦ファンは買っとけ、です。~

[NOIR]のサントラにもある「12.salva nos」ですが、
かなりパワーアップされています。
始め聞いたときは、全身に鳥肌が立ちました。

個人的には、この1曲だけでもこのCDを買っても悪くないと思えます。
salva nosが強烈すぎて、他曲が寂しく感じるぐらいです。

NOIR・サントラのような「仕事人！」という急ぎ足テンポはありませんが、

オペラ歌手の方が歌っているだけあって迫力もありますし、
コーラスも混声団がさらに、体中を浄化してくれる感じです。

オリジナルの方が良いという方もいらっやるかも知れませんが、
他の曲も、オリジナルと比べる価値はあると思います。
オリジナル曲を存じてない方も、梶浦さんの世界を垣間見れます。
