どんな言語にも不可能は無いと思いますが、
C++でゲーム開発を行っていて、DirectXを扱うためにVisualC++の必要性を感じました。

今までの私の経験から、VisualC++はC/C++の学習環境としては『この上無い環境』だと私は思います。

初心者の方はVisualBasicという方がいます。確かに直ぐアプリケーションという形で成果が現れる点では頷けます。

しかし「開発をしたい」という意欲をお持ちの方には、是非ともVisualC++に手を出して頂きたいです。

C/C++の底上げを望む開発者達は、喜んであなたを歓迎し、指導してくれると思います。
“魅力は資料の多さにある”私はこう思います。

大げさですが、私は心から『Microsoft Visual C++ .NET』をお勧めします。

　少々動作が重いと感じますが、まあ仕方ないなぁ。
と言う感じで諦められる程度です。
全体的な見た目がゴチャっとしていますが、VC++6.0よりも改善されてるのかな（持って無
いし、見たこと無いので分かりませんが・・・）？
　Windowsプログラミングをするには必須でしょうし、何より豊富な情報が魅力的です。
フリーのコンパイラでプログラミングになれた人が、次のステップに進む為の取っ掛かりに
お勧めします。

これは今までのC++にも言えるのですが、やはり少々扱いづらいですね。初心者の方は、Visual basicの方を買うことをお勧めします。直感的に思ったものが作れるからです。全くプログラミングをしたことがない人は、少々癖はありますがVisual basicを買った方がよいでしょう。ただ、音を出すのが非常に難しい等の限界があるので、中級者の人はこのソフトの方がよいでしょう。
